Je ne peux pas lire l’article, bloqué par mon PALC, mais ce qui m’a fait abandonné Sourceforge il y a déjà longtemps, c’est plutôt la grosse usine à gaz que ça a toujours été, assemblage bancal de briques hétérogènes mal foutues.

Maintenant que j’ai lu (merci @fil pour l’envoi par mail), je peux dire que j’approuve globalement ce qui est dit. Je me demande même pourquoi GitHub permet de gérer des pages web, ça va un peu à l’encontre de ce qui est exprimé ici.

Pareil, je pense que l’article pointe des aspects intéressants, mais évacue trop rapidement ce que certains disent bien dans les commentaires :

I mean come on – how much of github’s success is owed to the success of git itself? Tons! How significant is a good, clean, attractive UI? Huge! Case study after case study demonstrates the importance of UI.

You never bother to explain why these two, clearly and obviously important
factors are not significant. Are we supposed to just take your word on this ? No. I would put these two factors first and then maybe consider your comments about growing with projects and being developer centric as being tertiary, but important, factors.
