Sa‘d Hariri has been in Saudi Arabia for 8 months and did not manage to secure one meeting with the Saudi King. Yesterday, Saudi and Hariri media, especially Now Hariri, were jubilant when they reported that Mini-Hariri met with Saudi king. They produced one picture of that “meeting”, which did not look like a meeting, as I pointed out yesterday. New TV produced the video and said that he was in line during a royal Iftar and he kissed the shoulder of the king before moving to make room for other greeters. Watch.
