We’re developing Commotion primarily because we see a great need, in efforts like the Arab Spring protests, for #activists to have the ability to communicate securely and anonymously in a local fashion, as well as share sparse sources of Internet connectivity. It deals only obliquely with the question of identity and #anonymity on the #Internet.
