“It is a gigantic bubble, all the more dangerous as it is spread across France,” said Pierre Sabatier, from the consultancy PrimeView.
“It reached a paroxysm in the summer of 2011. There is a mix of incredulity and denial as it starts to burst but there can be little doubt that all levers propelling the market are disappearing.”
PrimeView said prices across France have jumped 160pc since 1998, though houshold incomes are up just 35pc. Paris has overtaken New York to become the world’s third costliest city at €18,000 (£14,600) per square metre.

Pas lu, et je ne suis pas un spécialiste de l’immobilier, mais la comparaison de prix entre New York et Paris est toujours problématique (chiffres Wikipedia) :
– Paris, 2 millions d’habitants, 21000 habitants au kilomètre carré,
– New York, 8 millions d’habitants, 6700 habitants au kilomètre carré.
Ce qui serait comparable, c’est Paris plus Seine Saint-Denis plus Hauts de Seine plus Val-de-Marne. Et (déjà rien que dans Paris) je ne vois pas que le mètre carré y soit à 18.000 euros.

Ouais, ce chiffre absurde rend la démonstration peu crédible en effet. On a néanmoins le sentiment que ce n’est pas le meilleur moment pour faire un achat immobilier. Ce qui comme moi ne peuvent pas de toute façon sont bien avancés.
