Residents from Bint Jbeil in south Lebanon confiscated over the weekend a camera belonging to a member from the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon during a dispute, UNIFIL spokesperson Andrea Tenenti told The Daily Star Sunday.
Tenenti said the camera was forcefully confiscated late Saturday after a dispute between several residents from Bint Jbeil and members of UNIFIL in Maroun al-Rass, south Lebanon.
The U.N. troops had been taking photographs of the village, Tenenti said.
