    Soit une vidéo d’une conférence d’une heure. Cette vidéo n’est pas accessible une personne sourde car non sous-titrée.

    Hors une personne aveugle passant par là nous demande si elle peut télécharger la vidéo quelque part : en effet dailymotion ne semble pas accessible.

    La vidéo fait 1,2 gigas. la piste son est extraite (avec un ptit coup de ffmpeg et les options qui vont bien).

    Un transcript est réalisé à partir de la piste son.

    Nous voilà donc avec un texte « tapé au kilomètre » . Donc voici un extrait :

    http://www.universalsubtitles.org/fr est un outils de sous-titrage en ligne. Soutenu par la fondation mozilla , je n’ai pas lu les conditions générales et il n’est pas encore référencé par http://tos-dr.info mais je lui fait confiance.

    Cet outil ne prend pas en input un texte au kilomètre mais par contre il prend :

    Alors voilà cher senthis[man|girl] aurais tu une idée d’une autre façon de faire ou d’autres outils pour qu’à partir d’un transcript on puisse générér un fichier de sous-titrage au format srt ?

    ou alors développer un ptit script qui prend le texte et qui le découpe ( à la |couper de #spip)

    • Bof, faire confiance, ils sont pas malhonnêtes quoi ...

      Par contre après avoir lu leur conditions d’utilisation je constate que je ne peux pas utiliser ce service pour sous-titrer quelques extraits de ma petite collection de films de Fassbinder. D’avoir obtenu les vidéos légalement ou non n’y change rien.

      En bref - ils vont publier l’URL de ma vidéo que je veux sous-titrer. Je serai donc en infraction avec le DMCA et je recevrai bientôt un courrier m’obligeant à effacer mes vidéos, à payer une note de frais d’avocat et je risque qu’on me réclame des dommages et intérêts pour la « publication » de mes vidéos.

      Quel dommage !

      At the end of the day, this more than anything else is the genius of Google: they inspire their audience to enthusiastically participate in an opt-in experience which would be considered massively intrusive by anyone else, or presented in any other way.
