Mok-Bang : dinner porn : oi oi oi ?
A South-Korean term derived from “mok” = dinner, “bang” = broadcast.
This started buzzing in December 2013 on YouTube and South-Korean P2P live-streaming site Afreeca.tv, where people broadcast their food-fests and some even earning money while doing so. The most famous of them, The Diva, manages to stuff for 2400 EUR worth food/month, frenetically eating one dish not necessarily after the other and at the same time chatting to her online audience all the while making sure her little white Shih Tzu remains on her lap. (likely for the left-overs).

Watch me explode ?
Oh, one more thing.
Not so long ago there was a good recap of previous, and still on-going and more international trend of taking photos of what you are about to eat. Listening to the podcast trigged my reflection on the missed opportunity to reference mok-bang, which is one step up the ladder (and perhaps one food in the grave).
