Lightly knocking and waking up the soundly asleep heart and mind, slowly open up your eyes.

Look at the busy world to see whether or not it is still lonely turning around and around non-stop

Let the mark of the tears on yesterday’s face follow the memory and get dried by wind

tai tou xun zhao tian kong de chi bang hou niao chu xian ta de ying ji
Look up and look for the wings of the sky, the traces of the migratory bird appears

“One same poem was read by young workers in 10 different dialects hailing from all over China. It expressed their will to go on sacrificing their best years of youth for the construction of Longgang. As for villagers who were wearing traditional clothes, they expressed their feeling of happiness towards the prosperous life they lead since the beginning of reform and opening by singing a Hakka mountain song (...) Eventually the township leaders, foreign businessmen, young workers and villagers were all dancing hand in hand and were singing ‘tomorrow will be better’” (来自全国的青工用十多种方言朗读同一首诗篇,表达他们为建设龙岗甘愿继续奉献新春的心声 (...)
