Il y a deux ans, le spectacle annuel de la maternelle de l’une de mes filles était accompagné par un joueur de hang - toute l’assistance était hypnotisée par le son de cet instrument étrange. Malgré l’insistance des curieux il n’a pas été possible de l’essayer, mais c’était affreusement tentant.
La production est tellement faible et la demande tellement élevée que PANArt peut se permettre de sélectionner les producteurs sur dossier (courrier postal uniquement - pas d’email !) et reçoit chaque acquéreur sur place : http://www.hangblog.org/information-about-purchasing-a-hang - les modèles d’occasion se vendent plus cher que les neufs. Il n’y a même pas de production standard - c’est de l’artisanat évolutif de petites séries où chaque pièce est considérée individuellement avec sa propre identité.

Le titre renvoie à ces figures médiatiques qui défendent, selon ce livre, une histoire orientée, tantôt nationaliste, tantôt royaliste, conservatrice voire réactionnaire, et des méthodes discutables quand elles ne sont pas franchement hasardeuses.
Ce sont pourtant ces « historiens de garde » qui dominent le traitement de l’Histoire dans le PAF, et notamment sur les chaînes publiques. Lorànt Deutsch n’est que le « poste avancé » d’un profond problème médiatique.
Doctorants et enseignants, les auteurs, William Blanc, Aurore Chéry et Christophe Naudin, soutenus par l’historien Nicolas Offenstadt qui a préfacé le livre, promeuvent au contraire une histoire ouverte sur le monde et les sociétés, qui ne s’arrête pas aux « grands hommes » et à la France.

U.S. intelligence agents stationed in Israel report multiple cases of equipment tampering, suspected break ins in recent years; CIA officials tell the Associated Press that Israel may have leaked info that led to the capture of an agent inside Syria’s chemical weapons program.The CIA station chief opened the locked box containing the sensitive equipment he used from his home in Tel Aviv, Israel, to communicate with CIA headquarters in Virginia, only to find that someone had tampered with it. He sent word to his superiors about the break-in.
The incident, described to the Associated Press by three former senior U.S. intelligence officials, might have been dismissed as just another cloak-and-dagger incident in the world of international espionage, except that the same thing had happened to the previous station chief in Israel.
It was a not-so-subtle reminder that, even in a country friendly to the United States, the CIA was itself being watched.
In a separate episode, according to another two former U.S. officials speaking to the Associated Press, a CIA officer in Israel came home to find the food in the refrigerator had been rearranged. In all the cases, the U.S. government believes Israel’s security services were responsible.

San Francisco Chronicle (USA) 28 juillet 2012 traduit de l’anglais par DjazaïriWASHINGTON (AP) — Le chef de la station de la CIA à Tel Aviv avait déverrouillé la boîte qui contenait le matériel sensible dont il se servait à son domicile de Tel Aviv, en Israël, pour communiquer avec le siège de la CIA en Virginie, et n’avait pu que constater que quelqu’un l’avait trafiqué. Ce dont il référa à ses supérieurs.
Cet incident, décrit par trois anciens cadres des services secrets US aurait pu être rangé simplement parmi les péripéties qui émaillent le monde de l’espionnage international, sauf que le même chose était arrivée au précédent chef de station en Israël.
C’était un rappel pas très subtil que, même dans un pays ami des Etats Unis, la CIA elle-même était sous surveillance.

Recently published US diplomatic cables show how deeply the Swiss initiative irked Washington — and how Bern refused to give up despite repeated requests from the US.
That US diplomats posted in Bern were upset by the efforts of Swiss Foreign Minister Micheline Calmy-Rey to intervene in the conflict surrounding Iran’s nuclear program in 2006 and 2007 and force themselves on the United States as an intermediary is well known. But just how upset has now become clear from the confidential diplomatic cables released by WikiLeaks.
In February and March 2007, Calmy-Rey dispatched Michael Ambühl, a high-ranking Swiss diplomat, on several visits to Tehran in an attempt to persuade the Iranians and the US to engage in bilateral talks. As part of the same effort, she hosted Iran’s then chief nuclear negotiator, Ali Larijani, for talks in Bern. Washington had vehemently tried to dissuade Calmy-Rey from assuming such an active role; but that didn’t stop her.
