Un beau reportage sur cet immense pianiste, complice d’Edward Saïd. Edward Saïd jouait aussi très bien du piano. Je l’ai entendu dans un reportage jouer remarquablement la fantaisie de Schubert op. 103 avec son prof de piano, c’était très émouvant. On le voit là mais le son est très mauvais (quelqu’un a un meilleur lien...). il a aussi joué cette oeuvre magnifique avec Barenboïm lui même.

Barenboïm est le fondateur du " West-Eastern Divan Orchestra" qui réunit des musiciens israéliens et palestiniens. C’est une très bel orchestre, ils ont jouer à Ramallah et à Gaza

Music, an escape from reality? Not to world-renowned Israeli Argentine-born conductor Daniel Barenboim, who believes that music rather creates a bigger reality.
“A great piece of music is like a whole life, it deals in sounds with problems of mankind .... You have everything you have in human life. You have conflict, love, strategy, possibility to develop ideas,” he explains.
