@fil, merci - excellent lien ! Finalement le problème de manque des sources nous suive constamment et nous nous voyons trop souvent comme des esclaves des nos chères illusions coordonnées par des propres intérêts de quelqu’un autre.
L’article de NYT montre certains aspects de la vie quotidienne dans cette région tensionée - on y trouve quelque chose d’un cynisme de la globalisation face aux réalités à Gaza et des catastrophes humanitaires autours du monde : une PR fast-food campagne au dessous de la terre avec un service que semble d’être garantis sous n’importe quelles conditions - pas de nécessité d’ajouter qu’il en faut à payer un peu de plus, bien sûr. J’avoue, ces détailles se démontrent comme des figures rhétoriques bien choisis pour confirmer simplement ou - mieux peut-être - pour ignorer le status quo avec une conclusion implicite et bon marché du coté de lecteur : « la vie est dure ».

The US has one of the highest rates of rape. Actually, up to 20 percent of American women have been raped. This is in a country that has laws against sexual violence and many campaigns to push women to report sexual violence. However, we do not hear about American men being a “disgrace” for their nation, and surely, the US is never listed in any of those silly indexes on “the most dangerous places for women.” If a Western woman is a victim of sexual violence in an Arab country that does not legitimize a statement against Egyptian men that hyper-sexualizes and portrays them as sexually violent.
Best analysis of the situation in the Middle East so far: “Theocratic regimes back secularists; tyrannies promote democracy; the US forms partnerships with Islamists; Islamists support Western military intervention. Arab nationalists side with regimes they have long combated; liberals side with Islamists with whom they then come to blows. Saudi Arabia backs secularists against the Muslim Brothers and Salafis against secularists. The US is allied with Iraq, which is allied with Iran, which supports the Syrian regime, which the US hopes to help topple. The US is also allied with Qatar, which subsidizes Hamas, and with Saudi Arabia, which funds the Salafis who inspire jihadists who kill Americans wherever they can”

Environ 60 000 migrants africains - majoritairement d’Erythrée et du Soudan - sont arrivés en Israël à travers le Sinaï depuis 2008. Il n’y a pas d’estimations précises quant au flux total de personnes traversant le désert du Sinaï, ni du nombre d‘otages. Mais selon l’ONG « Physicians for Human Rights », 52% d’entre-eux ont été sujets à des violences et d’autres formes de torture dans le Sinaï. Les survivants y ont été gardés en otage en moyenne pendant 140 jours et ont payé jusqu’à 40’000 dollars pour être libérés. Plus de la moitié de ces rescapés sont des femmes, et plus de la moitié des femmes affirment avoir été violées.

By the count of Human Rights Watch, thousands of sub-Saharan asylum seekers and migrants have fallen victim to abusive traffickers and other criminals in the Sinai. The organization has called on the Egyptian government to use its increased law enforcement operations in the area to rescue victims of trafficking and end the abuses. The Israeli government says some 58,000 sub-Saharan African nationals have crossed into Israel via the Sinai. Rights advocates say Eritrean migrants interviewed in Israel report having been subjected to serious abuses in the Sinai, including beating, whipping, branding, electric shock, being buried, exposed to the sun, sexual abuse, threat of execution, shooting, and threats of organ removal.
