Est-ce le port de l’étoile jaune par les ultra-orthodoxes qui a choqué ou l’intransigeance des ultras ?
Je me pose souvent la question de la légitimité d’Israël à honorer la mémoire de la shoa au vu de ses agissements.
Doit-on considérer que l’holocauste est d’abord un crime contre les juifs avant d’être un crime contre l’humanité ?
Doit considérer qu’Israël représente les juifs, ou seulement une partie d’entre eux ?
Les juifs de la diaspora sont-ils israéliens ou français, italiens, suisse, ou que sais-je ?
Lorsque l’on critique Israël, l’accusation d’antisémitisme tombe rapidement. Mais est-on véritablement antisémite ou simplement anti-israélien ?
De quel manière, dès lors, traite-t-ils les juifs ou les israéliens qui critiquent Israël ?
@pierre1, par le port de l’étoile jaune les ultra-orthodoxes se posent en victimes ce qui n’est évidemment pas le cas, ils ont le droit de pratiquer leur religion dans la mesure où ils respectent la liberté des individus. C’est là le hic. Ils font de plus en plus pression sur les autorités pour faire imposer leur dogme à l’ensemble de la population (contre sa volonté), un dogme qui porte atteinte aux libertés individuelles et notamment celles des femmes.

Since this news report last Friday, about a little girl from Beit Shemesh, secular-religious relations seem to be the only thing Israelis are talking about
Naama Margolis, an 8-year-old from Bet Shemesh, is the most famous girl in Israel today. In fact, nobody can stop talking about her.
And why is that? Well, on Friday evening, Naama told her story on the most watched news show in the country. Interviewed by Channel 2’s Shai Gal, Naama told how she was afraid to go to school, just a few hundred meters from her house in Bet Shemesh, because Haredim cursed and spit on her for being dressed “immodestly.”

Since the company renovated its premises in the centre of Jerusalem, installing picture windows that let passers-by see the rehearsals, ultra-orthodox Jews in the locality have waged a campaign against what they call the “indecency” of the women dancers.
They have demanded that the company close the blinds to conceal the women, banging on the windows and yelling through the glass whenever it has not complied.
Last week the company took a stand. It raised the blinds for an informal performance of Babel and the dancers continue to rehearse in full view.
Tension between the Haredim and other Jews is mounting across Israel. But it is acute in Jerusalem, where the proportion of Haredim is more than 20% and rising fast because of their high birth rate and the flight of many secular Jews from the city. Many non-Haredim say that the ultra-orthodox wield disproportionate influence on Jerusalem’s politics and social policy. Amir Kolben, the founder of the dance company, says its visibility is only one issue. “Jerusalem is full of friction points between ultra-orthodox Jews and secular culture. We have nothing against religious or orthodox Jews, but unfortunately this is not the case from the other side,” he said..
