Al Mayadeen has obtained an exclusive copy of Clause 8 of the Sharm El-Sheikh Agreement implementation paper, revealing details of the proposed roadmap for Gaza’s post-war security arrangements.
According to the document, the process of inventorying and storing heavy weapons, military production sites, weapons depots, and tunnels would begin only after the remaining obligations under the Sharm El-Sheikh Protocol are fulfilled and the designated National Committee enters Gaza.
The implementation paper states that the process would be carried out gradually by the National Committee according to a sequential timetable to be completed within 14 days. The timeline could be extended by decision of the International Verification Committee following the approval of all parties to the agreed roadmap.
