Des fonctionnaires américains ont expulsé Ajjawi, Palestinien de 17 ans, résident de Tyr au Liban, vendredi soir, peu après son arrivée à l’aéroport international Logan de Boston. Avant d’annuler le visa d’Ajjawi, les officiers de l’immigration l’ont soumis à des heures d’interrogatoire – leur permettant de fouiller dans son téléphone et son ordinateur – selon une déclaration écrite de Ajjawi.
« Quand j’ai demandé à chaque fois de récupérer mon téléphone pour leur parler de la situation, la fonctionnaire a refusé et m’a dit de rester assis dans [ma] position et de ne pas bouger du tout », a-t-il écrit. « A la fin des 5 heures, elle m’a appelé dans une pièce et elle a commencé à me crier dessus. Elle a dit qu’elle avait trouvé des gens qui postaient des points de vue politiques hostiles aux Etats Unis sur la liste de mes ami[s]. »
