A court in Paris is hearing final arguments in a case that will determine if the French state should have provided protection for the ANC struggle stalwart Dulcie September.
September was assassinated in France on 29 March 1988.
According to her family, she had informed the local police that her life was in danger and asked for protection.
She was later shot and killed outside ANC offices in Paris.
