It Is What It Is
BEIRUT — On Saturday, after yet another massacre in Syria, I sat down for tea with Maan Abdul Salam, a Syrian activist decamped to Beirut. I’d hoped to lighten the mood with a game of backgammon, but we struggled through each roll of the dice. Maan’s literary cafe in Damascus, once a haven for bright minds and dissident intellectuals, shuttered months ago. Now he wore the exhaustion of a drawn-out struggle. Without adding to his anguish, I wanted his take on one question: has Syria passed a mark, into a state of civil war?
His answer was a strained, qualified yes. Syria is practically in a state of civil war, along political lines. It’s not the kind of civil war the Middle East is used to: religious communities fighting for dominion. It is a country coming down on two sides, in a lopsided armed conflict, for and against the regime.

Syria: Revealing the true face of the world

Today while i was in work i checked my twitter since i didn’t have much work to do, i noticed that everyone was speaking about Homs, the city that we all heard about it because of the horrors that are happening in it. And of course because it’s the city were FSA has the most presence. Watching the live stream “Check the recording ►http://bambuser.com/v/2735300” that over almost 3 hours shook me to the core, i couldn’t even imagine that this brutality was taking place LIVE and front of my eyes. You could hear the guy who is recording the whole thing pleading and begging the world for help. As he was moving the camera to different areas where rockets are fired at he was telling what areas are they and what happened here and there. It was horrible, just horrible.

Casualties and Wounded:
Deir Ezzor/ AL-Jura:
A horrible massacre took place in AL-Jura district in which six victims were killed, including two children, as a result of a blast. Security forces had bombed a car in the area; its driver left it and rode in another one. The car exploded and killed many people around tearing them into remains.

Many villages were under heavy and random shelling (Edowan-Ein-Sheeb-Maarbleet-Mehembl-Mareean-Shaghoreet-Sarareef-Arneba-AL-Laaj), consequently thirty-one people were killed and dozens were wounded. It is an act of atrocity because many people are still under the rubble and the residents are recovering the corpses as in the following video:
