This is a documentary about war, terror and lies. The former US ambassadør to Iraq, John Negroponte, has a dark history when it comes to serious human righs violations. Negroponte was ambassador to Honduras in Central America during the 1980-ies. The film reveals shocking human rights violations from that period. The director Erling Borgen has followed in the footsteps of the ambassador. Inhabitants from Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador still remember Negroponte with sadness and disgust.
This documentary won the Paris Human Rights Filmfestival (2006)
