Il viaggio dall’Africa verso l’Europa? Dura più di due anni

È il dato più ricorrente e narra di un’escalation di deprivazioni: «il 75% dei migranti ha subito abusi fisici», per poi affidarsi alla tratta in barca nel Mediterraneo centrale «dove oggi muore una persona ogni 42». A rivelarlo i dati eclatanti del report di Medmig, gruppo di lavoro di tre università inglesi e ong europee che ha raccolto le testimonianze di 500 individui che sono riusciti ad arrivare in Italia

Participants at the UN Summit for Refugees and Migrants will today (Monday) hear the findings of a ground-breaking research project, which shed new light on why refugees and migrants left their home countries to make the dangerous journey across the Mediterranean.
