Rapporto sull’Egitto: centinaia di persone scomparse e torturate in un’ondata di repressione brutale
In Egitto, l’Agenzia per la sicurezza nazionale (Nsa) si rende responsabile di rapimenti, torture e sparizioni forzate nel tentativo di incutere paura agli oppositori e spazzare via il dissenso pacifico: è quanto ha denunciato oggi Amnesty International in un drammatico nuovo rapporto, che mette in luce una scia senza precedenti di sparizioni forzate dai primi mesi del 2015.
Il rapporto, intitolato “Egitto: ‘Tu ufficialmente non esisti’. Sparizioni forzate e torture in nome del contrasto al terrorismo“, rivela una vera e propria tendenza che vede centinaia di studenti, attivisti politici e manifestanti, compresi 14enni, sparire nelle mani dello stato senza lasciare traccia.
