Un site de contre cartographie sur les jeux olympiques de Londres en 2012 et Vancouver en 2010

Thus, I had better not provide a link to that site
While we’re on the topic, I’d like to announce an online countermapping project that is designed precisely to confront this extremely controlled, corporatized and militarized landscape of the Olympics.
The London [de]Tour Guide
is a participatory Google map that presents an alternative view of London during the games, detourning the idea of an olympics-themed tourism site while intervening in the digital representation and production of urban space. Anyone can add to the map, and over the next days and weeks the map will shift and develop according to the disparate voices of whoever chooses to contribute.
The project builds on a similar map of Vancouver created for the 2010 Winter Olympics
Disclaimer: I was a part of that project, and I am helping to launch the London version, as well. We are seeking more collaborators on the ground in London to add to the map and spread the word, but of course anyone from around the world can also participate however they wish.

Olympics organisers have warned businesses that during London 2012 their advertising should not include a list of banned words, including “gold”, “silver” and “bronze”, “summer”, “sponsors” and “London”."
