@vanderling Je suis presque arrivé au bout de l’écoute de ce morceau. Presque. Pour moi c’est très bien. Tu n’imagines pas à quel point. J’avais mis fort en plus. Me doutant que c’était comme ça que c’était prévu. Merci quand même. Pas sûr de le réécouter.

si tu changes d’avis @philippe_de_jonckheere l’album est disponible sur #bandcamp. Succumb, une découverte pour moi, j’aime bien. J’écoutais ça quand @ericw a pondu sa merveilleuse dyslexie creative et je trouve que The Flood l’illustre parfaitement. Heureusement il reste la musique avant de finir noyé par le capitalisme.

Oakland’s Extremity burst like a pustule onto the Death Metal scene in 2017 with their Mini-LP ‘Extremely Fucking Dead’. Five ferocious tracks gave the first taste of what was to come, and now the band returns with its debut full length album ‘Coffin Birth’, a hideous ode to Death Metal’s past and present.

Right from the start of the menacing opening intro / track of ‘Coffin Birth / A Million Witches’, Extremity brutalize with a hammer of pulverizing devastation and a defined melodic sensibility. Memorable and outright catchy songs that seamlessly veer from grinding speed to crushingly mid-paced unfold via a sordid concept that may reveal itself with careful attention.

Once again recorded at Oakland’s Earhammer Studios, the birthplace for so many of today’s standout Death Metal releases, ‘Coffin Birth’ boasts both surgical clarity and pummeling raw aggression. In combination with the attention to detail in both song and lyric writing, Extremity exhume a debut album born straight from a coffin.

@vanderling Ouh là, tout un album, je suis un peu intimidé. D’un autre côté j’ai une montagne de linge à plier, trier et ranger, c’est peut-être cela qu’il me faut !

C’est l’idéal, très efficace. J’écoute parfois du #death_metal en faisant le ménage.
Bon, ensuite faut pas trop regarder dans les coins, hein !

@vanderling Bon je n’ai pas tenu très longtemps, j’ai vite remplacé par des choses plus, comment dire ? familières. Mais le temps que je l’ai enduré, je me senti un peu différent de d’habitude.

@philippe_de_jonckheere je n’écoute pas que ce genre de musique, j’écoute un peu de tout mais je reviens souvent au death metal. Rien de tel pour me remettre les idées en place.
