GAZA CITY (Ma’an) — A 27-year-old Palestinian succumbed to his wounds, on Wednesday morning, that he had sustained during the naval march two days ago at the northern borders of the besieged Gaza Strip.
Medical sources confirmed that a Palestinian, who was identified as Sadam al-Abed Shalash, 27, succumbed to his wounds that he had sustained during the weekly naval march.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, Shalash was among 32 Palestinians, who were injured after Israeli forces opened live ammunition towards protesters participating in the march.
The naval marches are an attempt to draw the public’s attention to and break the ongoing Israeli siege of the Gaza Strip, whether via ships attempting to sail into Gaza or ships attempting to sail from Gaza.
