The first (on the left) provides an overview of the surface of the Moon and its phases. The second highlights the areas affected by the libration and includes the nomenclature conceived by Riccioli. He gave the names of 248 ancient and contemporary astronomers to as many locations on the Moon.

The dark side of the moon has always held a mystical fascination for stargazers – so when the crew of one of the first missions to orbit it heard strange music in their headsets, they were so surprised they weren’t sure whether or not to report it. The sounds were heard by the three astronauts on the Apollo 10 launch in 1969 while they were out of the range of terrestrial radio broadcasts.Two months before Apollo 11 landed two men on the moon for the first time, the crew of Apollo 10 – Commander Thomas P. Stafford, Command Module Pilot John W. Young, Lunar Module Pilot Eugene A. Cernan – entered lunar orbit as part of a “dress rehearsal” for the Apollo 11 moon landings. This included spending an hour crossing the far side of the moon, which blocked all contact with Earth.
While they were out of radio contact with Nasa’s mission control, they heard sounds described as “whistling” in declassified mission transcripts.
Recordings of what happened were classified for 40 years, but they have recently been recovered, and the music is to be revealed on the Science Channel’s series, Nasa’s Unexplained Files.

– PL : le 31/08/2023 à 01:36 UTC ; périgée le 30/08/2023 à 17:55 UTC ; distance Terre-Lune : 357 181 km ; diamètre apparent PL : 0°33’41,7"Situation inverse avec « micro » lune et apogée :
– PL : le 05/02/2023 à 18:29 UTC ; apogée : le 04/02/2023 à 08:55 UTC ; distance Terre-Lune : 404 476 km ; diamètre apparent PL : 0°29’33,6"Soit une différence de diamètre apparent de 0°04’08,1" entre la « super lune » du 31/08 et la « micro lune » du 05/02. Quatre petites minutes d’arc ... Si on considère que le diamètre apparent moyen de la Lune (30’ d’arc) est un angle sous tendu par une pièce de 1 € placé à 2,5 m d’un observateur, la différence d’apparence d’environ 14 % n’est pas perceptible à l’œil nu.
Ce qui pourrait expliquer la surmortalité parmi la population sélénite victime pour le coup d’infoxication à chaque manifestation d’obscurantisme de la part des médias terriens. :-))

Each album consists of one single, long-form composition using electronics, synthesizers and voice, totaling between 50 and 58 minutes in duration. The album names were taken from the Native American names for each month’s full moon, and each was released as close to or on the date of that month’s full moon.
