Le Mouvement du Jihad islamique a fermement condamné les deux explosions qui visaient deux points de contrôle de la police palestinienne à Gaza, mardi soir, qualifiant cet acte de"perfide" visant tout le peuple palestinien sous de fausses déclarations, au moment où il ne servirait que l’ennemi occupant sioniste".

Le mouvement a souligné dans une déclaration, se tenant fermement aux côtés de la police et des services de sécurité face à toute tentative malveillante visant à frapper notre front intérieur, en faveur d’un agenda au service de l’ennemi sioniste qui tente par tous les moyens de nuitre à notre peuple et à sa vaillante résistance.

Les autorités, qui avaient évoqué dans la nuit des « explosions » d’origine indéterminée, ont fait passer le bilan des attaques, survenues contre des check-points de la police dans la ville de Gaza, de deux à trois morts, en plus de trois blessés.

Des témoins ont déclaré à l’AFP qu’il s’agissait d’attentats suicide menés par des kamikazes à moto. Le ministère de l’Intérieur n’a pas confirmé ces informations mais, selon une source proche de l’enquête, « les soupçons penchent du côté des salafistes ». Ce terme est traditionnellement utilisé par le Hamas pour décrire des groupuscules radicaux qui contestent son autorité à Gaza et s’inspirent de l’organisation Etat islamique (EI).

Il s’agirait des premiers attentats suicide dans l’enclave palestinienne en plus de deux ans. La dernière en date, le 17 août 2017, visait un garde du Hamas dans le sud de l’enclave, près de la frontière égyptienne.(...)

PCHR Condemns the Explosions Targeting Two Traffic Police Checkpoints in Gaza City Demanding Perpetrators Be Brought To Justice

The Palestinian Centre for Human Rights (PCHR) condemns in the strongest terms the explosions targeting two traffic police checkpoints in Gaza City yesterday evening, killing three members of the traffic police and injuring 9 civilians including a woman. PCHR demands that the Gaza Strip Attorney General investigate the crimes and bring perpetrators to justice.

According to PCHR investigations, two violent explosions occurred on Tuesday evening, 27 August 2019, at two separate traffic police checkpoints in Gaza city. The first occurred at 22:45 at al-Dahdouh Square, southern part of the city, and resulted in the killing of two police officers and the injury of three civilians including a woman. The second explosion occurred at 23:45 at a checkpoint along the Gaza sea corniche where one police officer was killed and 6 civilians sustained injuries.

The Palestinian Ministry of Interior Affairs announced on its website that the three killed traffic and rescue police officers were: Lieutenant Salama Majed al-Nadeem (32); Lieutenant Wael Moussa Mohammed Khalifa (45); and police assistant Alaa’ Ziad al-Gharably (32). Additionally, three others were injured. The Ministry’s statement also assured that “security services have leads on those behind this obscene crime,” they also asserted that they are investigating the incident and will announce the results in due time. GAZA (Reuters) - Les explosions qui ont tué trois policiers mardi dans la bande de Gaza étaient dues à des attentats suicides commis par deux kamikazes et une enquête a été ouverte pour savoir qui est derrière ces attaques, a déclaré mercredi le mouvement Hamas qui contrôle ce territoire palestinien.

« Deux personnes ont déclenché hier soir leurs charges explosives à deux points de contrôle de la police », a dit à Reuters Eyad al Bozom, porte-parole du ministère gazaoui de l’Intérieur. « Nous les avons identifiées et nous poursuivons notre enquête pour savoir qui les a envoyées. »

Le but de ces attentats, a-t-il ajouté, est de « semer le chaos et l’anarchie à Gaza ».

Mousa Abu Marzouq, a member of the political bureau of Hamas, stated on Thursday that the security forces of the Interior Ministry in Gaza have arrested ten persons who are believed to be members of the cell that carried out the two bombings on Tuesday evening, which killed three security officers.

For his part, Eyad al-Bozom, the spokesperson of Gaza’s Interior Ministry, stated on Wednesday evening that the investigations are advancing and that the identity of those behind the bombing have been ascertained.

He added that the bombings were carried out by two suicide bombers who detonated themselves at two police checkpoints and that they have been identified. (...)
