A spokeswoman for Women and Girls in Scotland said: “Katie Dolatowski has already taken advantage of access to female spaces to commit sexual assault.

“It is absolutely unacceptable that this person was being given the same opportunity again."

Dolatowski, who is on a curfew and electronically tagged, was deemed to pose a moderate risk of re-offending.

She was placed on a three-year community payback order at the end of January after she admitted sexually assaulting one girl and following another into the toilets on February 8.

Fife Council said it did not have a specific policy for housing transgender people but had a duty to accommodate offenders.

A dangerous transgender sex offender has been jailed for 11 years after she pretended to be a teenage boy in a sick bid to groom a 12-year-old girl.

Jacinta Brooks, who was known as Duncan Smart but now lives as a woman, sent dozens of explicit messages to the schoolgirl, in which she asked her to send indecent images of herself.

A court heard it was the third time 41-year-old Brooks had targeted children, after previously having sex with a girl under 16 and abusing another.

A leading prison reformer has said prisoners who have committed violent offences against women should not be able to transfer to women’s prisons if they have not legally changed their gender, after it emerged that a transgender inmate had sexually assaulted fellow prisoners after transferring to a women’s prison.

Karen White was on remand for multiple rapes and other sexual offences against women when she transferred to New Hall prison, near Wakefield.

Last week it emerged that after transferring to the female prison, she was accused of four sexual assaults against other inmates between September and November last year, before being moved to a men’s prison.

Karen White, 51, who was born male but now identifies as a woman, has pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual touching at New Hall Prison, Wakefield.

The offences took place between September and November last year. She has since been moved to a male prison.

Details emerged when White appeared at Leeds Crown Court to admit to a rape committed outside prison.

Carrie Cooper, 52, was convicted of eight charges of sexual assault and one assault by penetration after attacking the girl in Hertford between 2007 and 2012.

When Cooper was known as Gary, she was jailed for 14 years and four months for raping a 12-year-old girl in Basingstock, St Albans Crown Court heard.

A former soldier has been jailed for having images showing child rape and torture.

Ella Davies, 36, from Plymouth, turned herself in after going on the run for two months, and admitted owning indecent images of children.

She was jailed for a year and nine months at Exeter Crown Court.

She was given a suspended sentence for similar offences in 2016, under her original identity of Daniel Reeves.

The transgender woman will begin her sentence at the all-male Exeter Prison before officers decide whether to house her in a male or female jail.

More than 1,000 images of children were found on her phone after police raided her home in Paignton in August 2017.

Judge David Evans told her: "You are repeat offender and this case is aggravated by the very young age and discernible distress of the subjects of the image.

"Your seeking out of these odious images contributes to the demand for them and leads to their creation and the harm that causes to children.

“I accept your experience of custody may be more challenging for you than for others, for obvious reasons.”

Barry White, defending, said Davies was suffering from severe psychiatric problems arising from her gender dysphoria, and was sectioned in 2017.

He said she was “disgusted by her behaviour”.

“She said she had downloaded indecent images of children. She told police she had been the victim of a catalogue of abuse when she was a young child living in Leicester,” said Mr Fitch.

Mr Fitch told the court that despite Prince’s ‘early’ and continued co-operation with police following the raid in June 2016, the force did not complete the analysis of her electronic devices until August 2018.

Addressing Judge Peter Kelson QC, Mr Fitch said: “As Your Honour will know, indecent image cases take a long time to process.”

Analysis revealed Prince had downloaded a total of 1,191 indecent images of children, whose ages ranged between five and 13-years-old.

In total, Prince downloaded 108 Category A images – the most serious legal category, defined as content which shows children being raped, as well as 90 Category B images and 993 Category C images.

She also downloaded 53 images of ‘extreme pornography’ and 337 prohibited images of children, which the Crown Prosecution Service define as ‘non-photographic’ images.

Nicola Watson, 55, was seen gallivanting in the garden of a Ludlow home and peering through bedroom windows on April 16 last year.

Nobody was in at the time but Watson, who was born a man and now identifies as a woman, was seen on the homeowner’s CCTV carrying out indecent acts.

The householder received a notification from her smart CCTV system, and saw the shocking footage on her phone.

Watson, who sat stony-faced in the dock, wearing a pink cardigan and a flower in her hair, was already a convicted sex offender, the court heard.

She was already serving a sentence until 2025 for sexual offences before this case came to court.

Judge Jonathan Gosling jailed her, telling her that she was guilty of a “self-indulgent act of exhibitionism”.

Prosecutor Kevin Jones told Shrewsbury Crown Court: “The defendant was wearing nothing but furry boots.”

He told the court she was carrying out indecent acts as she walked around a garden and was seen looking through a bedroom window.

He added: “The footage was forwarded to the police. She was arrested. She was shown the footage and was said to appear shocked, but gave a ‘no comment’ interview.

“A guilty plea was entered at the first available opportunity. She has nine previous convictions for 18 offences, including harassment in 1994 and 2007.”

Watson, of Ludlow, admitted knowingly trespassing on premises with intent to carry out a sexual offence.

Peter Hemming, defending Watson, said: “She has previous sexual offences on her record. She has not co-operated with the probation services.”

Gerald Matovu, 26, met Eric Michels, 54, via gay dating app Grindr in August last year. He gave him a fatal dose of GHB at his home in Chessington, Surrey and then made off with his bank card details and other belongings.

Michels, who had an uncredited role in Skyfall, was found dead in bed by his 14-year-old daughter. He was one of 12 men targeted by Matovu and his lover, Brandon Dunbar, 24, over a 19-month period, jurors heard.

Following an Old Bailey trial, Matovu was found guilty of Michels’s murder and 38 other offences, while Dunbar was convicted of 23 offences.

One in 50 male offenders in prisons are self-identifying as transgender, according to a survey by the official jail watchdog, amid concerns inmates may be attempting to secure extra perks.

The figure, the first by the watchdog, suggests there are up to 1,500 transgender inmates among the 90,000 prisoners in England and Wales, more than ten times previous estimates, and at least four times the number in the general population.

Among offenders from traveller communities the number self-identifying as transgender or transsexual rose to one in ten inmates, according to the annual report by Peter Clarke, the chief inspector of prisons.

Transgender prisoners are entitled to shower alone, separate cells and can apply to switch between male and female jails. Earlier this year the Ministry of Justice created a “wing” for transgender prisoners to keep them away from other inmates.

Mark Fairhurst, chair of the Prison Officers Association (POA) said there “would always be some trying to abuse the system” but it would not affect officers approach to treat transgender inamtes with respect and dignity.

In his report, Mr Clarke warned thousands of prisoners including sex offenders were being released without proper checks on the they danger they posed to the public. Some sex offenders were also being released into inappropriate accommodation including budget hotels.

“Much remains to be done, particularly around prisoners who present a potentially high risk of harm to the public being released without a full risk assessment,” said his report.

An inmate’s assessment should be regularly updated, he said, but sometimes there was no document at all or the paperwork was out of date.

He added that the response to the problem, which had been raised repeatedly, had been “poor”.

A veteran sex crimes detective is “baffled” why notorious transgender serial pedophile Madilyn Harks wasn’t hammered with a dangerous offender tag.

Harks — formerly Matthew Harks — is suspected of having upwards of 60 victims, with around 200 offences tacked on.

Harks’s drive to harm little girls — the victims in his three convictions were all under eight — appears insatiable.

And when the monster — who committed the offences in British Columbia — began living as a woman in 2014, the parole board dropped several conditions of her supervision.

That included psychiatric treatment.

The chipper decision reads: “Given your progress, it is reasonable and necessary to facilitate your reintegration into the community.”

But whether Harks has had any hormone treatments or surgery to complete her quest to be a woman is unknown.

In jail, Harks sexually assaulted two fellow female inmates who were “child-like in appearance.”

Daniels said recently a number of convicted pedophiles have opted for a gender switch. The cynical old cop believes, to a large degree, that it’s a twisted ploy.

“He’s a pedo. This is his new ruse to gain access to victims and not be recognized on the street,” Daniels added.

“These people are cold and calculating. Don’t even get me started on chemical castration, it does not work.”

A Québec City transgender parent who sexually assaulted her young daughter will be serving a sentence in a women’s jail after undergoing a sex change between the time of the crime and the conviction.

The transgender woman, who cannot be named to protect the victim’s identity, was sentenced to 18 months Monday for sexual assaults carried out when she was still a man.

The 33-year-old — the victim’s biological father — had pleaded guilty to crimes that took place in 2013 when the girl was just three.

On September 17, 2019, a grievance was filed by a formerly incarcerated Indigenous woman who maintains that CSC staff were aware that she was being harassed by Harks during her incarceration at Grand Valley, and that they failed to intervene. She has a history of childhood sexual abuse that was perpetrated by a male; and so her confinement with Harks, and the failure of CSC to relocate her, was deeply triggering. She is citing multiple violations of the Corrections and Conditional Release Act.

Harks’ alleged harassment of this woman (a copy of whose grievance I have in my possession) included following her around, as well as telling her she was the reason he was at Grand Valley. On one occasion, he reportedly told her he was “horny.” On another, this convicted pedophile told her she had a “young spirit.” She alleges he met her outside the washroom and asked if she was menstruating. She recognized this continual disrespect of her boundaries as typical grooming behaviour (priming for abuse), and this had a negative effect on her mental health. She became “very fearful, and spiraled into a trauma response with nightmares, sleeplessness and flashbacks.” As there is no trauma therapy available in prison, the reduced functioning she experienced as a result of her symptoms led to threats of segregation from the rest of the prison population. She is citing discrimination on the basis of sex and Indigeneity. (Despite comprising only about 4.3% of Canadian women, Indigenous women make up 40% of federally incarcerated women.)

A convicted child molester who raped a three-month-old boy has undergone gender reassignment surgery — complete with DD breast implants, the Toronto Sun has learned.

Tara Desousa was just 17 when she was known as Adam Laboucan and declared Canada’s youngest dangerous offender for the horrific sex crime.

Desousa sexually assaulted a three-month-old baby boy in Quesnel, B.C. The brutally injured child required reconstructive surgery the damage was so horrific.

Desousa also admitted killing a three-year-old child when he was just 11 years old, although he was never criminally charged.

“He said he was not planning a life of crime, but he felt he had no way to control the flood of violent, murderous fantasies,” forensic psychiatrist Ian Postnikoff told Desousa’s dangerous offender hearing, adding these machinations could be turned against weaker people “with fatal consequences.”

Sexually abused when she was a child, the hearing heard that Desousa felt she had done nothing wrong.

But experts held out little hope that the one-time Adam Laboucan will be cured in the near future — if ever.

“He’s not a regular sex offender. I would be very concerned to hear that Laboucan would be released into the community in the near future,” Postnikoff said.

A pedophile who sexually abused 15 children including a one year-old baby is to be freed from jail after transitioning to become a woman.

Josie Smith, 23, is set to be let out four years after her conviction thanks to hormone treatment which lowered her testosterone levels.

She was sentenced before she began the hormone treatment, and was originally ordered to stay behind bars indefinitely on the basis that she had the sex drive of a man.

But lowering Smith’s testosterone has also diminished her sex drive, and thus dramatically decreased the risk of her re-offending, according to officials.

She has been receiving the treatment for the last two years as she prepares to ‘potentially undergo gender reassignment surgery,’ the Storm Lake Times reported.
