Je commence (timidement) à regarder si je ne pourrais pas m’installer un serveur de streaming vidéo sur Flip-Zone. J’ai trouvé celui-ci :

Overview of the VideoLAN streaming solution

D’après sa description, Erlyvideo semble capable de faire du #RTSP (très mal décrit dans leur doc) ce qui est indispensable si on veut servir tout le monde (et pas juste Flash et iGagdet).

Malheureusement, red5 ne permet pas de de faire du streaming via la balise video html5 (le protocole rtmp n’est pas supporté par html5). Donc si les terminaux mobiles ne sont pas une priorité pour toi c’est une bonne solution de streaming.
En revanche il existe ▻http://flumotion.net et la surprise (c’est rare) cette solution open source propose le streaming (vod et live) vers les appareils mobiles ! Démo ici : ▻http://www.flumotion.com/demosite/webm

Sinon je crois qu’il existe quelques possibilités pour faire du streaming video via Amazon CloudFront.
