Forty representatives of EU member states, Southern Mediterranean partner countries, the European Commission, EU specialised agencies and international organisations attended a high level peer to peer meeting on the topic of irregular migration, organised by the EU-funded Euromed Migration III project in Budapest, Hungary.
The overarching focus of the meeting was to examine the experience of managing mixed migration flows over the last ten years looking at lessons that have been learnt while importantly reviewing potential options for the future.
