    A new Microsoft Edge logo has been unveiled by Microsoft. The app reborn as a a Chromium-based cross-platform web browser, is also evaluating a Linux port. This post, Microsoft Edge Gets a New Logo, Still Debating a Linux Build, was written by Joey Sneddon and first appeared on OMG! Ubuntu!.

    Launched this year, with the first class beginning in 2012, the THNK Creative Leadership Program at THNK, The Amsterdam School of Creative Leadership is a post-graduate program designed to “provoke and inspire professionals, entrepreneurs and scientists into becoming the world’s next creative leaders.” Limited to 30 participants the program runs for a whole year with one month of “basic training” off campus, four months of “intensive training” on campus, and five months of “acceleration program” off campus. Tuition is €43,000 (US$63,000). An identity for the school has been created by Amsterdam-based Lava

    Typography: Where East Meets West - Brand New

    Mathaf manages to sit comfortably amongst this world, whilst pulling off a slight twist. Its identity is almost wholly expressed through typography, and attention has clearly been lavished in this area. As someone with little to no expertise in #Arabic #typography, I’ll refrain from making too many comments on that aspect, other than to say this is probably one of the more pleasing English / Arabic double version logo I have seen to date. As simple a trick the left/right swap may seem, it’s sensitive, refined and elegant whilst retaining a link to the hand rendered essence of Arabic script. But then again, what do I know…

      Je trouve la version latine encore plus vilaine que la version arabe :-))

      Si tu t’intéresses aux « double versions » typographiques arabe/latin, dans le genre chouette, beau, intelligent et tout et tout, il faut faire un tour sur le site de la Khatt Foundation :
