Intéressante « critique » du film « Les Schtroumpfs 3D » :

En fait, elle n’est pas intéressante en tant que critique de film. Cela n’en est pas une. Elle est intéressante parce qu’elle apparaît sur le Huffington Post, une ferme de contenu américaine équivalente à Le Post de Le Monde.

Qu’est-ce qu’une ferme de contenus ?

C’est un site web dont le but est d’attirer un maximum de visiteurs, en particulier issus des moteurs de recherche, en leur fournissant le contenu le moins cher à produire pour revendre ce contenu à des sites tiers, ou bien pour revendre ce contenu à des annonceurs sous forme d’espaces publicitaires, le tout avec un investissement minimum (et la qualité qui va avec) et un retour sur investissement maximum (en soi, ce dernier point n’est pas un problème, à ceci près qu’il est exacerbé).

Pour en revenir à la critique de film, on notera que :

– un titre de page optimisé pour les moteurs de recherche ;
– une introduction générique, plaçant surtout les mots-clefs en rapport avec le thème (comme la liste des comédiens impliqués, inscrite en vrac par un tour de passe passe syntaxique) ;
– des citations de sources tierces ;
– une conclusion factuelle ;
– une phrase finale incitant à, en premier lieu, ajouter des commentaires (du contenu gratuit et original) et, en second lieu, faire visiter une autre page du site.

Avec un générateur de contenu dédié, ce genre d’articles peut réclamer environ 5 minutes de temps-homme pour être produit, relu, retouché, validé et mis en ligne.

Evidemment, tout ceci ne réclame certainement pas d’aller voir le film pour en parler, pas plus que regarder la bande annonce... À quoi bon ? Cette « critique » n’exprime aucun avis.

Hispanics Lost Two-Thirds Of Household Wealth In Recession: Study

Wealth disparities between white households and black and Hispanic households are greater than they’ve been in the past 25 years, a new study from the Pew Research Center has found.

The report, released Tuesday, shows that median wealth declined by 66 percent among Hispanic households between 2005 and 2009. For black households during the same time period, median wealth fell by 53 percent, while white households experienced a decline of only 16 percent.

The changes in median wealth over the four-year period measured mean that as of 2009, the average black household had only $5,677 in wealth — that is, assets minus debts — and the average Hispanic household had only $6,325. The average white household had $113,149 in wealth — 18 times that of Hispanic households, and 20 times that of black households.

Lesbian Couple Ordered To Leave Museum For Holding Hands

A lesbian couple was enjoying an art exhibit at San Francisco’s Contemporary Jewish Museum over the weekend when they were reportedly approached by a museum security guard and told they had to leave — all because they were holding hands.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle’s C.W. Nevius, the guard told the women they were not permitted to hold hands inside the museum. When they began to argue with him, he attempted to usher them outside. The women refused and asked to see the head of security, while an outraged crowd of people formed to watch the altercation. The head of security met with the women and immediately removed the guard from duty, according to Daryl Carr, the museum’s Director of Marketing and Communications.

Ironically, the women were checking out the work of famous lesbian artist Gertrude Stein.
