Israeli soldiers killed, Friday, a young man, and injured 312 other Palestinians, including 54 with live fire, after the army attacked the Great Return March processions, in several parts of the Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza has confirmed that the soldiers killed Karim Mohammad Kollab , 25, after shooting him with live fire, east of Gaza city.

It added that the soldiers also injured 312 Palestinians, including 100 with live fire.

100 of the wounded Palestinians were rushed to hospitals in the Gaza Strip, while five of the injured residents suffered life-threatening wounds.

The Health Ministry also said that among the wounded are twenty children and two women.

In related news, an Israeli tank fire a shell at Palestinian protesters near the perimeter fence, east of Gaza city, while an Israeli drone fired two missiles at a site, east of Gaza.

According to online Israeli daily Haaretz, the army carried out several air strikes in northern Gaza, and quoted the military alleging that a number of protesters “hurled explosives and grenades,” in addition to burning tires.

It added that one soldier was mildly injured by shrapnel, while firefighters extinguished six blazes caused by flaming balloons and kites, near the border area.

Israeli soldiers killed, on Wednesday night, a Palestinian child from Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, and injured many Palestinians in several parts of the coastal region.

The Health Ministry in Gaza said the soldiers killed Mo’men Ibrahim Abu Eyada, 15 , from Rafah, after shooting him with a live round in the head, east of the city.

According to Israeli Ynet News, the army said they “had no knowledge of any casualties or any live fire used by the soldiers,” and added that “only a very few officials were available for comments, because Israel was marking the Yom Kippur fast day.”

Furthermore, the soldiers fired dozens of live rounds, and high-velocity gas bombs, at Palestinian protesters near the perimeter fence, east of Deir al-Balah, in central Gaza, wounding six Palestinians with live fire, and causing many to suffer the effects of teargas inhalation.

The two Palestinians were rushed to the Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Balah, while the medics provided the needed treatment to scores of Palestinians who suffered the effects of teargas inhalation, in addition to various cuts and bruises.

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) has reported, Thursday, that the administration of the al-Jalama Israeli detention facility, declined a request by one of its lawyers to visit with hunger striking detainee, Khader Adnan.

In a statement, PPS lawyer Saleh Ayyoub, said that Adnan is ongoing with his strike for the 19th consecutive day.

Ayyoub added that the PPS conducted all legal measures to arrange for this visit, but once he arrived at the facility, the administration claimed Adnan’s medical condition prevents him for visits.

The PPS said that Israel frequently prevents lawyer from visiting with hunger striking detainees, in addition to repeatedly transferring the detainees to various prisons, and constantly makes up justifications to prevent such visits.

(...) On Tuesday Afternoon, 18 September 2018, families of the 2 persons killed identified them after their photos were published on social media. They were namely as Naji Jamil Hasan Abu ‘Aasi (17) and ‘Alaa Ziad Jamil Abu ‘Aasi (20); who are both from Bani Suhaila.

Though the circumstances have not clarified the reason behind their presence in the scene, they posed no threat to the life of Israeli soldiers as they were both civilians and unarmed, noting that the area was calm and did not witness any protests. Moreover, many infiltrations into Israel for work there were reported in that area.

At approximately 17:00 on Tuesday, 18 September 2018, Israeli forces stationed at the Beit hanoun “Erez” Crossing in the northern Gaza Strip fired live bullets and tear gas canisters to disperse hundreds of civilians who were protesting near the crossing upon calls from the National Committee of March for Return and Breaking the Siege to participate in the “Together for the Rights of Refugees and Breaking the Siege” activity.

The Israeli Forces’ shooting resulted in the killing of 2 civilians who were identified as Mohammed Ahmed Mohammed Abu Naji (32) from Beit Lahia Housing Project who was hit with a bullet to the chest; and Ahmed Mohammed Muhsen ‘Omer (24) from al-Shati’ refugee camp who was hit with a bullet to the chest. Both of them were taken to the Indonesian Hospital in Jabalia.

Moreover, 44 civilians, including 7 children, 2 women, 3 journalists and 2 paramedics, were wounded. Seven of the wounded were hit with bullets while the rest were directly hit with tear gas canisters in addition to dozens who suffered tear gas inhalation. Further, a tear gas canister hit and broke the window of a PRCS ambulance.(...)

The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza has reported, late on Monday at night, that an Israeli war jet fired a missile at Palestinians, east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, killing two young men.

Media sources in Gaza said the slain Palestinians have been identified as Ibrahim Najjar and Mohammad Khader , both from Khan Younis.

The Health Ministry stated that the medics managed to reach the two Palestinians, near the perimeter fence in southern Gaza, and took them to Nasser Medical Center.

Israeli sources said the Israeli Air Force targeted Palestinians, who reportedly approached the fence, and placed an explosive object.

It is worth mentioning that the soldiers also fired dozens of live rounds, and flares, at Palestinian protesters, east of Rafah, and in Khuza’a town, east of Khan Younis, in southern Gaza.

In related news, several Palestinians managed to reach an Israeli army sniper post, across the border fence, and burnt it, while a number of fighters fired live rounds at an Israeli drone, east of Khuza’a.

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) has reported that Israeli soldiers killed, on Tuesday at dawn, a young Palestinian man after abducting him from his home, and repeatedly assaulting him.

The PPS said undercover Israeli soldiers abducted Mohammad Zaghloul al-Khatib , 24, from his home in Beit Rima town, northwest of Ramallah, in central West Bank.

It quoted his brother stating that nearly 30 Israeli soldiers invaded the family home to abduct Mohammad, before continuously and repeatedly assaulting him in his home until he fell unconscious.

He added that the soldiers then took him brother to an unknown destination, and the family was later contacted by an Israeli intelligence officer, asking them whether Mohammad had any “preexisting conditions,” and they assured the officer that their son was completely healthy.

His mother said that the soldiers beat him on the head, then smashed his head several times against the wall until he fell down, unconscious. They handcuffed his prone body, then left the scene, leaving him unconscious and handcuffed with no medical attention.

On Tuesday morning, the Palestinian District Coordination Office was contacted by its Israeli counterpart, informing them that Mohammad was dead, without setting a date for transferring his corpse back to his family.

The family said the soldiers resorted to the excessive use of force against Mohammad, continuously beating him up while abducting him, and accused the military of executing their son.

The Palestinian Health Ministry in the Gaza Strip has reported that a child died, Saturday, from serious wounds he suffered of August 3rd after Israeli soldiers shot him in Khan Younis, in the southern part of the coastal region.

The Health Ministry said the child, Soheib Abdul-Salam Abu Kashef , 16, was shot with live Israeli army fire, and remained in a serious condition until he succumbed to his wounds at the Gaza European Hospital.

GAZA CITY (Ma’an) — Israeli naval forces opened fire at dozens of Palestinian boats protesting at the northern besieged Gaza Strip seaport, on Monday, in an attempt to break the 12-year-long Israeli blockade.

Protesters sailed 55 boats off the coast of the Gaza Strip; the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza said that 49 Palestinians were injured, 10 of whom were hospitalized.

Boats were then forced to head back to shore.

A Ma’an reporter said that protesters at the beach set fire to tires near the northern security fence border with Israel.

GAZA CITY (Ma’an) — A 32-year-old Palestinian was shot and killed on Sunday by Israeli forces east of Jabaliya refugee camp in the northern besieged Gaza Strip.

The Israeli army announced that its soldiers spotted a Palestinian approaching the security border fence and opened fire at him, causing him injuries and later detaining him.

The Israeli army added that the Palestinian succumbed to his injuries on the scene.

A Ma’an reporter said that Israeli forces opened fire at a Palestinian man, who was later identified as Ataf Saleh , 32, from the Jabaliya refugee camp.

According to reports, Israeli military vehicles then entered several meters near the return camps in the Gaza Strip and detained Saleh after seriously injuring him.

Israeli forces opened fire at anyone attempting to approach the border fence and prevented ambulances from reaching Saleh for more than half an hour, during which he succumbed to his injuries.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army said that three Palestinian youths were detained as they allegedly attempted to enter into Israel in central Gaza.

The Palestinian Health Ministry has reported that a child died, Saturday, from serious wounds he suffered a day earlier during the Great Return March procession, near the perimeter fence, east of Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

The Ministry said the child Ahmad Misbah Ahmad Abu Tyour , 16, was shot in the femoral artery in the thigh, before he was rushed to surgery, and then to the Intensive Care Unit at a Palestinian hospital.

It added that the child remained in a serious condition until he succumbed to his wounds, Saturday.

The Palestinian Health Ministry has reported that Israeli soldiers killed, Friday, a teenage boy, and injured at least 210 others, during the Great Return March processions, in several parts of the besieged Gaza Strip.

Dr. Ashraf al-Qedra, the spokesperson of the Health Ministry in Gaza said the soldiers killed Bilal Mustafa Khaffaja , 17, after shooting him with a live round in the chest, east of Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

He added that the soldiers also injured 210 Palestinians, including 45 with live fire, and added that 70 of the wounded were moved to several hospitals, while the rest received treatment in make-shift hospitals. Among the wounded are fifteen children.

Media sources in Gaza said the soldiers, including sharpshooters, stationed on sand hills and fortified posts, fired dozens of live rounds, in addition to rubber-coated steel bullets and high-velocity gas bombs at the protesters, along the eastern part of the Gaza Strip.

The Shifa Medical Center, west of Gaza city, has announced on Friday morning that a young man died from serious wounds he suffered when Israeli soldiers shot him on July 14th, 2018, during the Great Return March procession on Palestinian lands in northern Gaza.

It said that Amjad Fayez Hamdouna, 19, from Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, was shot with live Israeli army fire in Abu Safiyya area, east of Jabalia, in the northern part of the coastal region.

The Palestinian was rushed to the Indonesian Hospital, in Beit Lahia, and was later moved to the Shifa Medical Center due to the seriousness of his wounds.

He underwent surgeries, and remained on life support at the Intensive Care Unit until he succumbed to his wounds.

Israeli soldiers killed, Monday, a young Palestinian man near the al-Mowahel military checkpoint, located near the illegal Israeli settlement of Keryat Arba in Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.

The soldiers shot the young man with multiple live rounds, then left him lying on the ground and prevented ambulances from reaching him. He eventually bled to death from his wounds.

Although the soldiers claimed that the young man had attempted to carry out a stabbing attack at the checkpoint, they presented no evidence for this claim, and the video released by the Israeli military shows al-Jabari’s body lying on the ground far from the checkpoint in the middle of the street.

This is presumably where he was standing where he was shot, and the location is at least twenty meters away from the checkpoint.

The Palestinian has been identified as Wael Abdul-Fattah al-Ja’bari, a 27-year-old Palestinian, from Hebron.

The slain Palestinian is a married father of two children, and was shot just meters away from his home.

Israeli forces reportedly shot the youth with several bullets throughout his body and prevented the access of ambulance crews to the site of the incident, leaving the youth to bleed to death.

No Israeli soldiers were injured or hurt in any way, as the young man was shot while far from the checkpoint.

The Palestinian Health Ministry has reported that Israeli soldiers shot and seriously injured, on Friday evening, a Palestinian female medic, east of Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, during their excessive use of force against the Great Return March in the coastal region.

The Health Ministry said the medic, identified as Shorouq Abu Mosameh, was seriously injured after the soldiers shot her with a live round in the chest, which exited through her back.

She was rushed to the Surgery Room at the Gaza European Hospital, and is currently in very serious condition in the Intensive Care Unit.

The Health Ministry said Israeli soldiers injured, Friday, 180 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, including 59 who were rushed to hospitals, including a seriously wounded child, 10 years of age; the rest received treatment at field clinics.

Jérusalem / Paris – Plus d’une semaine est passée depuis que Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) a été informée de la mort d’un de ses employés palestiniens, Hani Mohammed Almajdalawi , tué à Gaza le 20 août 2018.

Bien que ses représentants aient été en contact avec les autorités israéliennes ces derniers jours, MSF n’a pas obtenu d’éclaircissements sur les circonstances de la mort de son collègue, et n’est donc pas en mesure de commenter les versions de cet événement telles qu’elles ont été rapportées.

Hani Mohammed Almajdalawi travaillait en tant qu’infirmier dans l’une des cliniques post-opératoires de MSF à Gaza depuis 2014. Il était un collaborateur apprécié et un infirmier dévoué. Il n’était pas en service le jour de sa mort.

JERUSALEM (Ma’an) — A Palestinian youth was killed after being shot by Israeli forces under the pretext of attempting to carry out a stabbing attack in the Old City of occupied East Jerusalem.

Hebrew-language news outlets claimed the Palestinian youth attempted to stab one of the members of the Israeli forces, who responded with opening fire at the youth and killing him.

The Palestinian was identified as Ahmad Muhammad Mahamid from the Umm al-Fahm town in northern Israel.

Sources confirmed there were no injuries reported among Israeli forces.

A Ma’an reporter said that Israeli forces closed the gates of the Old City of Jerusalem and forced all shops to close and evacuate the area.

The Palestinian Health Ministry in the Gaza Strip has confirmed that Israeli soldiers killed, Friday, two Palestinians and injured 270 others, including 60 who were shot with live fire.

The Ministry said the soldiers killed Karim Abu Fatayer, 30, by shooting him with a live round in his head, east of the al-Boreij refugee camp, in central Gaza.

The Palestinian was shot in his eye, and the bullet exited through the back of his head after fracturing his skill and scattering his brain. The slain Palestinian is from Deir al-Balah, in central Gaza.

26, east of Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

Sa’adi is a married father of two daughters, Rahaf, 5, and Aseel, 3, and his wife is seven months pregnant.

The Health Ministry also said the soldiers injured 270 Palestinians in several parts of the Gaza Strip, during the Great Return processions; 166 of them were treated in field clinics, and 104 were rushed to hospitals.

Among the wounded are 60 who were shot with live fire, including 19 children, in addition to nine medics, who were injured by shrapnel or suffered the effects of teargas inhalation.

The Health Ministry in Gaza said the latest Israeli assaults bring the number of slain Palestinians since March 30th, to 170, in addition to 18300 who were injured.

Palestinian Medical sources in the Gaza Strip have reported that a seriously injured young man has died from his wounds, on Sunday at night.

The sources said that Wisam Yousef Hijazi, 30 , was shot by Israeli army fire on May 14th , during the Great Return March procession, east of Abasan al-Jadeeda town, east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

Hijazi remained in a critical condition due to his injury, and was referred to an Egyptian hospital, but succumbed to his wounds at Rafah Border Terminal, between Gaza and Egypt.

Wisam was from Bani Sohelia town, east of Khan Younis.

According to data from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (OCHA), published on August 9th 2018, 172 Palestinians; including 140 men, 2 women, 28 boys (children) and 2 girls (children), have been killed in the Gaza Strip since March 30th

Deux Palestiniens ont été tués vendredi dans la bande de Gaza par des tirs de soldats israéliens lors de manifestations et de heurts le long de la barrière de séparation, sans que la trêve fragile instaurée entre le Hamas et Israël paraisse remise en cause.

Les protestations du vendredi étaient considérées comme un test des intentions du mouvement islamiste Hamas et de ses alliés dans l’enclave palestinienne sous blocus, après un sévère accès de fièvre jeudi.

Environ 2.000 Palestiniens ont manifesté et brûlé des pneus à l’est de la ville de Gaza, a constaté un journaliste de l’AFP.

Avec d’autres rassemblements ailleurs le long de la barrière israélienne, quelques milliers de personnes en tout se sont déplacées, loin des mobilisations antérieures qui ont pu réunir des dizaines de milliers de Gazaouis.

Un secouriste de 21 ans, Abdallah al-Qatati , a succombé après avoir été atteint à la poitrine à l’est de Rafah (sud de la bande de Gaza). Il s’agit du 2e secouriste au moins à avoir été tué par les tirs israéliens depuis le 30 mars. Un autre Palestinien Ali Al-Aloul, 55 ans, a également été tué vendredi par l’armée israélienne.
