A friend of mine died this morning in #Morton_Hall
Basically, a guy I knew died today in Morton Hall. We called him ‘the Doctor’. He was living in the UK for 27 years now. He got arrested for false documents and sentenced to 6 months in jail. After that, they brought him to Morton Hall where he stayed for 2 years.

  Prison officers are dealing with an incident at Morton Hall Immigration Removal Centre after a disturbance at the site in Swinderby.
  Staff have been evacuated to a ’place of safety’.
  The Home Office has confirmed a man has died at the facility on Friday night.
  The incident has been contained within the centre but emergency services are at the site.

  A male detainee passed away at Morton Hall immigration removal centre in Lincolnshire last night. Not surprisingly, detainees are angry about the man’s death and so there have been protests inside the detention centre throughout today.

  Body of Rubel Ahmed, who died at Morton Hall Immigration Centre, returned to family in Bangladesh
  The body of a man who died at Morton Hall Immigration Removal Centre near Lincoln has been returned to his family in Bangladesh.
  Rubel Ahmed died at the centre in Swinderby on September 6.
  It sparked 12-hour riots within the centre and specially trained staff were called to deal with the disturbance.
  His body arrived at Osmani International Airport in Sylhet yesterday and was then taken to the family home in Sangirai village.
