North Korea may be one of the most secretive places on the planet but that doesn’t make it off limits to tourists. Over 6,000 westerners, and hundreds and thousands from China, visit every year. All trips are tightly monitored by North Korean guides, some have been reported to delete photos that they were not happy with.
