cette question n’est pas réglée mais elle concerne les blocs du sud, alors que le bloc en question ici est le bloc 4, au milieu du pays.voilà une carte représentant l’ensemble de ces informations.

merci, je n’avais pas été voir quels étaient les blocs concernés par la découverte.

As a result of the presence of gas in this well, the basic elements of a geo-petroleum system were confirmed in the Lebanese sea, but the existence of a gas reservoir was not verified,” he added.

Je vois qu’au nord non plus il n’y a pas d’accord sur la frontière maritime avec la Syrie.

Lebanon seeks Russia’s mediation on its maritime border with Syria.
“We have knowledge that Syria wants to demarcate the maritime border with Lebanon, and Russia is present in this area and at this border in particular,” Lebanese Defense Minister Bou Saab told the Russian news agency.

Saab mentioned that Russia may be incentivized by its own economic interests in the area. Together with Italian Eni and French Total, the Russian Novatek company is part of the consortium of international oil companies that will start exploration operations in December in Lebanon’s offshore Block 4.

Lebanon is also significant for Russia within the context of Moscow’s efforts to reinforce the stability of Syrian administrative institutions, viewed as a rear foothold for long-term stabilization in Syria. In this situation, Moscow’s mediation of the territorial controversies between Lebanon and Syria is only logical.

“Russia may act as a mediator in the debate over maritime borders between Lebanon and Syria if it is necessary,” said special presidential envoy for Syria Alexander Lavrentyev during his latest visit to Lebanon. “As you know, currently the maritime border between Lebanon and Israel is being drawn out via US facilitation efforts. If our support or aid is needed, we are ready to provide it, as progress and achievement of any specific agreements on such crucial issues actually benefits the growth of trust — and, more importantly, allows for stabilization in the region,” he added.

merci @simplicissimus je n’avais pas entendu parler de cette question. Bientôt la Syrie revendiquera le bout de mer litigieux entre Israel et le Liban, de même que la zone des Fermes de Shebaa flotte entre le Liban et la Syrie selon l’édition de la carte à laquelle on se réfère...

@rumor : sauf que les prétentions syriennes, quels que soient les autorités au pouvoir, ont des chances d’être réglées plus juridiquement que ne le fait d’ordinaire l’Etat israélien. Ne mettons pas tout au même plan, au prétexte de notre détestation de certaines figures politiques...

@gonzo : les fermes de Shebaa, plus de soixante-dix ans de non-règlement juridique... comme plus largement la frontière syro-libanaise qui n’a jamais été démarquée officiellement. Je ne dis pas cela pour minimiser les exactions israéliennes, ni d’ailleurs accabler le régime d’Assad père et fils. C’est de la géopolitique, avec des Etats qui ne sont pas construits sur un système de règles juridiques, ou plutôt dont les différents acteurs (syriens autant que libanais, par ex. le Hezbollah pour Shebaa) sont contents de garder des trous et du jeu dans les composants du système de règles parce que cela leur offre des ressources d’influence, des leviers pour d’autres finalités...

L’actualité fait bien les choses. Un rapport passe en revue tous les conflits maritimes de l’est méditerranéen.
