DEHRADUN: With nearly 2 lakh migrants registering themselves to return to Uttarakhand this week, villages across the state are gearing up to deal with the sudden influx of returnees. In several villages in Pauri Garhwal — the district which has the highest number of ‘ghost villages’ at 186 and several sparsely populated hamlets— houses abandoned decades ago are being turned into quarantine centres.
