Larry Kramer to ’Stonewall’ Filmmaker : ’Don’t Listen to the Crazies’
    https://www.advocate.com/arts-entertainment/2015/08/10/larry-kramer-stonewall-filmmaker-dont-listen-crazies

“Don’t listen to the crazies. for some reason there is a group of ’activists’ that insists on maintaining their prime importance and participation during this riot. unfortunately there seems no one left alive to say ’it wasnt that way at all,’ or ’who are or where the fuck were you.’ as with so much history there is no way to ’prove’ a lot of stuff, which allows artists such as yourself (and me I might add) to take essences and attempt to find and convey meaning and truth. i sincerely hope this boycott your film shit peters out. we are not dealing with another ’Cruising’ here. keeping your film from being seen is only hurting ourselves. good luck and thank you for your passion.”

Controversial casting for new ’Stonewall’ film sparks outrage
    https://www.stonewall.org.uk/node/21292

Stormé Delavarie (sic), a butch bi-racial lesbian and drag king is noted to have thrown the first punch in an act of self-defense in the face of police brutality. Stormé doesn’t make the Stonewall film’s cut, though we do hear a woman being detailed by police shouting a version of her famous line ‘Why don’t you guys do something?’.

Miss Major and Sylvia Rivera are TWOC, campaigners and activists that were incredibly present in the Stonewall riots. They are nowhere to be seen as far as we’re led to believe; erased from their own history and undermined by the work that goes into ‘preserving’ it. These four trailblazers, Marsha P Johnson, Storme Delarvie (sic), Miss Major and Sylvia Rivera, deserve our attention.

Voici comment ça s’écrit en vrai. #Stormé_DeLarverie

Queer Theory’s Heist of Our History - The Gay & Lesbian Review
    https://glreview.org/article/queer-theorys-heist-of-our-history

Gay people are victims of an enormous con job, a tragic heist, and it has been going on for too many years. It is time to call its bluff. This means recognizing that we have been here since the beginning of the history of people. It means accepting that men loving men, men having sex with men, has been here since the beginning of history.

Anger over women’s business honour for cross-dressing banker | The Times
    https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/anger-over-women-s-business-honour-for-cross-dressing-banker-h0gv3l7nw

A male Credit Suisse director who sometimes goes to work in a wig and dress has prompted outrage by accepting a place on a list of the Top 100 Women in Business.

Philip Bunce, who is married with two grow-up children, typically spends half his time as Philip and half as his female alter ego, Pippa. He says he is “gender fluid” and “non-binary.”

In previous interviews, Mr Bunce described climbing the career ladder as a man and waiting until he was “very established” and “quite senior” at the investment bank before starting to cross-dress at work four years ago.

Bof.)

Marlow Moss : forgotten art maverick | Culture | The Guardian

Marlow, née Marjorie, Moss was born in London in 1889 and died in Cornwall in 1958. In the intervening 69 years, she changed herself utterly. The child of prosperous Jewish parents, she took herself off to the Slade, disappearing to Cornwall after a nervous breakdown. When she returned, it was as the crop-haired, jockey-clad, Marlow-not-Marjorie lesbian Canney saw in Newlyn 40 years later. In the meantime, she had moved to Paris and found the work of Piet Mondrian.

The effect was electrifying. One of the things that makes Moss stand out historically as an English artist is her untypical passion for European modernism. In 1927, the year she moved to Paris, the hottest group in London was the Seven and Five Society, its members still doggedly struggling to marry an outdated post-impressionist style to an outmoded local romanticism. Moss, by contrast, apprenticed herself to Fernand Léger, then experimenting with the mechanical mode of painting he had dubbed purism. Even this would not be radical enough for Léger’s English student. In or about 1928, Moss saw her first Mondrian, and the die was cast.

Trans author : ‘A lot of gay men are gay men as a consolation prize because they couldn’t be women’
    https://www.gaystarnews.com/article/juno-dawson-gay-men-consolation-prize

Et le reste du fil :

17./ That homophobia permeates much of the gender identity industry who in their hearts believe most little fem boys are really girls and butch girls are really boys. Here’s a therapist in a video for @GIRESUK
salivating at the prospect of putting a boy on puberty blockers.

18./ And it’s not just boys. There’s an even more profound attack underway on the mental health of girls who aren’t “gender conforming” with social media full of celebrations, for example, of the wearing of chest binders in preparation for eventual breast removal by surgery.

    Malcolm Clark
    @TwisterFilm
19./ The gender identity lobby has embarked on a wholesale erasure of gay history, is steeped in homophobic contempt for gays (and transsexuals for that matter) and wants to medicalise young lesbians and gays. How will we overcome it? In part by following Larry Kramer’s example.

21./ We also need his pride. He didn’t think ’gay’ was part of a narcissistic spectrum of navel-gazing “identities” worn as lightly as some Pippa Bunce dress. He thought we were special and believed our history and our stories should be cherished. He was right.

22./ Above all we’ll need his conviction. At first he and his supporters were a tiny band hated by the gay establishment. Today our LGBT establishment are as blind to the danger the gender identity plague poses as their predecessors were to AIDS. It’s time to open their eyes.

    Voilà. Ça pue.
