The army further admitted that its incentive mechanisms created severe distortions in payments. Efforts to reduce average service days from 72 to 55 encountered a field-level phenomenon known as “attached personnel.” Thousands of reservists reportedly rotated between units and battalions primarily to accumulate service days and financial bonuses, without being organically integrated into those units.

Criticism has also centered on operational preparedness. Military officials acknowledged that the widely cited “10:4” model—ten days of service followed by four days off—is not being implemented. Entire battalions are operating on a “week-on, week-off” basis, spending one week in the unit and one at home.

According to the senior officer, this arrangement erodes unit cohesion and directly undermines operational readiness.

Despite the controversy, the army insists that the sharp reduction in reserve service days is not the result of a deal with the Finance Ministry, but rather stems from “value-based resource management,” not financial pressure. The military says it has shortened post-operational processing periods, reduced headquarters staff, and adjusted functional standards.

Nevertheless, Walla reports growing frustration among reservists and their families, who describe a state of confusion and instability.

“We have restricted the phenomenon of attached personnel,” the senior officer was quoted as saying. “After completing reserve duty in one battalion, they would move to another. We want to return them to the labor market. Some gave up the idea of being a teacher and preferred becoming a reservist.”

In an unusual incident described by the Israeli media, a plane carrying Israeli passengers violated Lebanese airspace and crossed it, heading towards Ben Gurion airport in the occupied Palestinian territories.

“The Greek airline flight was under Cypriot air traffic control when the decision to divert was made for the sake of passenger safety,” the IAA said, adding: “responsibility for the flight was handed over to Israeli air traffic control once the plane had left Lebanese airspace.”

According to flight-tracking data, the jet passed directly over Beirut for several minutes before rejoining its revised approach path toward the Zionist entity.

An aide to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is one of several suspects arrested for an alleged security breach that involved leaking top secret intelligence, Israeli officials said.

The Bild published a story in early September that referred to a document that was allegedly drafted by Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar and contained Hamas’ strategy about the hostage and ceasefire deal negotiations.

A joint investigation by the Shin Bet, the Israeli police and the IOF has led to the arrest of several suspects.

The investigation focused on a “concern of a security breach due to the unlawful provision of classified information” that has put at risk “sensitive information and intelligence sources, as well as harmed the efforts of achieving the goals of the war in the Gaza Strip,” according to information the judge released for publication on Friday.

Netanyahu denied his office was involved. “No one from the Prime Minister’s Office was questioned or arrested,” he said in a statement.

He added that there was no leak from the Prime Minister’s Office and accused other government bodies, which he didn’t name, of leaking classified information.

“Nobody else was questioned. I wonder why,” Netanyahu said.

Israeli officials said one of the suspects is Netanyahu’s closest aides.

The Israeli public broadcaster Kan reported the aide, who worked closely with Netanyahu since the beginning of the war, participated in sensitive security meetings and was exposed to highly classified information even though he failed has security background check.

Al-Manar Exclusive: Maps Show Why Resistance in Gaza is Unbreakable

Nearly five months on the start of the Israeli ground offensive in Gaza, the Palestinian resistance, by its unwavering resolve, still stands as an impenetrable barrier, despite the relentless aggression and the horrific genocide.

Started on October 27, 2023, the ground offensive was declared with the stated goals of eliminating Hamas and releasing the captives taken by the resistance group during the heroic Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7th.

Despite attempts of advance throughout long weeks of ferocious fighting, the Israeli occupation army failed to secure its presence in numerous areas across the strip, and was forced to pull out several brigades from Gaza.

Al-Manar has prepared several maps that show the course of the battlefield since the start of the ground invasion. The maps provide a comprehensive visual representation of the battlefield’s dynamics and tactical maneuvers.

On the evening of 27 October, the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched a large-scale ground assault on the towns of Beit Hanoun and Bureij in the Gaza Strip. A day later, the occupation military said the deployed units were still on the ground, marking the beginning of the Israeli invasion of the Gaza Strip.

During the first month of the ground offensive, the Israeli incursions initially took place at two areas: Beit Hanoun in the north and in the area near Juhr Al-Deek in the strip’s center, south of the Gaza City (Map 1 gives more details). The occupation troops then expanded their presence from the north to the west, and then to the center.

By November 18, the occupation military ended up in cutting the Gaza Strip in to two halves, the north and the south, and in encircling the Gaza City.

Later in December, the IOF attempted to stage a new incursion in the south, near Al-Qarara city, north of Khan Younis (Map 2). In this stage, the Palestinian resistance was still capable to stage attacks against the occupation forces in the north.

Two weeks later (by December 19), the occupation forces tried to expand their presence in the north, the center and the south (Map3). During this phase, heavy losses were inflicted upon the IOF who were met by fierce resistance.

By December 22, the Israeli occupation army pulled out several brigades from Gaza, including the Golani Brigade, after significant losses inflicted upon (Map 4 gives more details).

The resistance’s say was decisive later in January: The Israeli occupation can never control the northern area of the Gaza strip, it can only lay siege to the area and try to make another attempt in the south, in Al-Qarara and Khan Younis (Map 5 gives details).

In March, and nearly five months on the start of the ground invasion, the Israeli occupation military withdrew from several areas in the Strip’s center and south. It ended up building a 1-kilometer deep path on the Gaza Strip’s border with the occupied territories in Gaza envelope (as shown in Map 6).

The Unbreakable Resistance

By March 19, the official Israeli death toll, announced by the occupation military since the start of the ground offensive, stood at 251, with estimations that the real figures have been far greater.

Fighting in an urban environment, the Israeli troops have been facing many challenging factors that shaped the outcome of the military engagements.

Of these challenging factors are the booby traps and shells. These local-made explosive devices have been used by the well-trained resistance fighters, frequently at point-blank range.

Furthermore, the complex tunnel system in the Gaza Strip is seen by the occupation army as a serious problem. Fighters can move between the buildings without actually going outside into the street, indicating that soldiers are susceptible to ambush.

On the other hand, the resistance fighters are seen as a formidable adversary to the occupation army as they are the native people of Palestine. They are familiar with the territory in Gaza and have been preparing for this for a long time.

Ultimately, the Israeli ambitions have crumbled against the resilience of the Palestinians, leaving their hopes of conquest dashed against the achievements secured by the unbreakable resistance.

Day after another, Israeli atrocities committed against the oppressed people of Gaza are being uncovered. Throughout the brutal war, today in its 109th day, Gazans have been informing about acts of savagery against both living and dead people in the war-torn besieged strip.

In the latest heinousness, Israeli occupation forces have been destroying the cemeteries in Gaza and desecrating the deceased people’s final resting place, with Gaza residents reporting that some corpses of their beloved ones have been stolen.

Desecration of at Least 16 Cemeteries in Gaza

In a report on January 20, the CNN reported that the Israeli military has destroyed at least 16 cemeteries in Gaza, citing satellite imagery and social media footage.

Gravestones in Gaza have been ruined and the ground overturned. In some cases, bodies have been unearthed, CNN reported.

Based on its examination of satellite pictures and videos, the US news network concluded that in other situations, the Israeli occupation army appears to have utilized graves as military outposts, with bulldozers converting many graveyards into staging groundsLegal experts quoted in the report emphasized that deliberately destroying religious sites like cemeteries and turning them into military targets violates international law, suggesting that the Israeli occupation’s actions could be considered war crimes.

“There’s huge symbolic meaning to the notion that not even the dead are left in peace,” Janina Dill, co-director at Oxford University’s Institute for Ethics, Law and Armed Conflict, told CNN.

The CNN investigative report detailed incidents such as the removal of bodies from graves, underscoring profound disrespect for the deceased and raising serious concerns about human rights violations.

The recent report has shed light on the Israeli occupation army’s illicit activities, including organ harvesting which is considered a severe violation of human rights and international law.

“Israel Harvesting Organs from Victims’ Bodies”

In the same context, a British doctor has supported accusations that the Israeli occupation have been harvesting organs from dead people in Gaza.

The British doctor said that the medics from the Palestinian Red Crescent have recorded incidents of organ harvesting in Gaza, noting that the Zionist entity itself had acknowledged it has the largest skin bank in the world.

“Investigation into Israeli Holding of Dead Bodies”

Earlier in November (2023), Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor expressed concerns about possible organ theft from Palestinian corpses, citing reports by medical professionals in Gaza who examined some bodies after they were released by the Israeli occupation.

The NGO said it has documented Israeli occupation forces confiscating dozens of dead bodies from the Al-Shifa and Indonesian hospitals in northern Gaza, alongside others in the south.

It reported that medical professionals found vital organs, such as livers, kidneys and hearts, alongside cochleas and corneas were missing.

The Euro-Med Monitor described the Zionist entity as one of the “world’s biggest hubs for the illegal trade of human organs under the pretext of ‘security deterrence’”.
Gaza cemeteries

It urged Tel Aviv to abide by international law and reiterated the “necessity of respecting and protecting the bodies of the dead during armed conflicts.”

According to a 2008 investigation by the CNN network, the Zionist entity is thought to be the biggest hub for the illegal global trade in human organs.

“Largest Skin Bank”

Reports have emerged in recent years that ‘Israel’ is unlawfully using Palestinian corpses.

An investigation conducted and aired by Israeli Channel 10 in 2014, high-ranking Israeli officials admitted that skin was taken from the bodies of dead Palestinians and African workers to treat Israelis, such as soldiers with burn injuries.

In it, the director of the Israeli Skin Bank revealed the country’s reserve of “human skin” reached 17 square meters – a huge number relative to the population of the occupation entity.

When asked about the number of those who apply to skin donation, she answered that the number is so low, in a clear indication that attributes to the high number of human skin reserve.

‘Israel’ used U.S.-supplied white phosphorus munitions in an October attack in southern Lebanon that injured at least nine civilians in what a rights group says should be investigated as a war crime, according to a Washington Post analysis of shell fragments found in a small village.

A journalist working for The Post found remnants of three 155-millimeter artillery rounds fired into Dheira, near the ‘border of Israel’, which incinerated at least four homes, residents said. The rounds, which eject felt wedges saturated with white phosphorous that burns at high temperatures, produce billowing smoke to obscure troop movements as it falls haphazardly over a wide area. Its contents can stick to skin, causing potentially fatal burns and respiratory damage, and its use near civilian areas could be prohibited under international humanitarian law.

Of the nine injured in Israel’s attack on Dheira, at least three were hospitalized, one for days. Lot production codes found on the shells match the nomenclature used by the U.S. military to categorize domestically produced munitions, which show they were made by ammunition depots in Louisiana and Arkansas in 1989 and 1992. The light green color and other markings — like “WP” printed on one of the shells — are consistent with white phosphorous rounds, according to arms experts.

The weapons are part of billions of dollars in U.S. military arms that flow to ‘Israel’ every year, which has fueled Israel’s war on Gaza Strip, launched after Hamas attack on Oct. 7. At least 17,700 people, many of them civilians, have been killed since the Israeli operation began, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.

Photos and videos verified by Amnesty International and reviewed by The Post show the characteristic ribbons of white phosphorus smoke falling over Dheira on Oct. 16.

An Israeli woman who was held captive by Hamas resistance movement expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Al-Qassam fighters for their humanity and decent treatment of her and her daughter.

Danielle Aloni and her five-year-old daughter were among the first batch of Israeli captive to be released by Hamas last Friday, November 24.

In a letter written on November 23, just a day before their release, Danielle said her daughter, Emilia, “felt like a queen in Gaza.”

“Thank you for the many hours you spent as caregivers,” read the letter, first communicated by the military media of Al-Qassam and then went viral on social media.

“To the generals who have accompanied us in recent weeks, it seems that we will part tomorrow but I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the unimaginable humanity that you expressed towards my daughter Emilia,” the now-freed Israeli woman wrote in Hebrew.

“You were like her parents. You invited her to your room whenever she wanted. She is leaving this place with the feeling that you are all her friends and not just friends, but really good friends.”

“I will forever be grateful that she will not leave here with trauma. I will forever remember the good treatment we’ve received here despite the difficult situation you were dealing with yourselves and the difficult losses you experienced here in Gaza,” Danielle wrote.

“”I wish for a better world where we could be really good friends. I wish you all good health, health and love to you and your family members,” the Israeli woman added, concluding her letter with “Shukran Kteer”, an Arabic term meaning Thank you so much.

The letter written by Danielle Aloni reflected Al-Qassam resistance fighters’ humanity and kind treatment of the Israeli captives.
