Video posted online show the stern of the Carnival Glory crash into the bow of the Carnival Legend.
“Carnival Glory was maneuvering to dock when it made contact with Carnival Legend which was already alongside,” Carnival said in a statement. “We are assessing the damage but there are no issues that impact the seaworthiness of either ship.”

Déjà, vu l’inertie monstrueuse de ces engins, je trouve que les équipages ont été très bons de toucher aussi peu…

Sur la deuxième vidéo, la fumée de la cheminée du Glory indique en effet un vent assez fort pratiquement dans l’axe du navire (le commentateur dit It’s really windy at Cozumel, today et on entend le vent dans le micro) ce qui contribue au lent rabattement de l’arrière). Et apparemment, ces navires n’ont pas de propulseurs latéraux (on l’aurait vu à l’œuvre…)
