Le chef local, Sergueï Axionov premier ministre de la République de Crimée, a un peu plus de mal avec les Tatars :
But earlier in the day, a busload of unidentified men wearing camouflage uniforms and berets marched into the Mejlis—the ethnic group’s executive council offices—and pulled down a Ukrainian flag that flew outside, replacing it with a Crimean flag. After the men left, the flag was removed and replaced by a Crimean Tatar flag.
A statement on the Mejlis website said the Ukrainian flag had only just gone up over the building, following the return of the ethnic group’s outspoken leader, Mustafa Dzhemilev, who had come back to the peninsula from mainland Ukraine on Sunday. He and other Crimean Tatar leaders say they were briefly detained while trying to enter in a motorcade of 50 cars bearing Crimean Tatar and Ukrainian flags.
On Sunday, the acting head of the region, Sergei Aksyonov, accused the Crimean Tatar leadership of “provoking ethnic strife,” and that he considered them extremists. Crimean Tatars make up about 12% of the region’s population of 2 million people.
“The Mejlis hangs a Ukrainian flag over their building,” he wrote on his Twitter feed. “I am more and more convinced that they are provocateurs. 97% voted for Russia [in the referendum]. If you do not like it, leave!”
