La meta

Dans le gaming, le metagame est un ensemble de connaissances formelles et empiriques sur un jeu de stratégie, accumulées par le joueur au fur et à mesure de ses parties. Grâce au metagame, il va pouvoir transcender les règles imposées par les créateurs et performer en jouant avec elles.

IRL, « connaître la meta » signifie connaître les règles qui structurent de manière parfois très informelle un milieu social. Arriver avec une meta permet de déjouer certains pièges et de tracer sa route vers l’enrichissement ou l’épanouissement professionnel.
