A team of Dutch experts has arrived in Donetsk, eastern Ukraine, to conduct preparations for removing the wreckage of the Malaysian Boeing flight MH17 which has crashed on July 17, Donetsk Deputy Prime Minister told RIA Novosti Tuesday.
Three Dutch experts have arrived to remove the wreckage of Boeing, which still remains near the town of Torez. The first consultation with the representatives of our Emergencies Ministry, Ministry of Transport and police was held today. The experts also visited the crash site,” Andrei Purgin, who also takes part in the talks, said, adding that the reasons of the crash are not being discussed.
Purgin added that currently the experts are inventorying and measuring the wreckage to find out what kind of transport is needed to take them away from the crash site. They will also determine the route. “Likely [they will take the wreckage] to Netherlands via Kharkov,” Purgin said.
According to Purgin, Malaysia passed on the right to conduct operations with the plane’s fragments to the Dutch side even though the aircraft belonged to Malaysia. “They got offended at Kiev, because Ukraine kept the Malaysian experts in a hotel for three weeks telling them how dangerous it is to come here,” suggested Purgin. He estimates that the MH17 wreckage will be removed from the crash site “in two or three weeks.”

German Intelligence Blames Pro Russian Separatists for #MH17 Downing - SPIEGEL ONLINE
    http://www.spiegel.de/international/europe/german-intelligence-blames-pro-russian-separatists-for-mh17-downing-a-997972

After completing a detailed analysis, Germany’s foreign intelligence service, the Bundesnachrichtendienst (BND), has concluded that pro-Russian rebels were responsible for the crash of Malaysian Airlines Flight MH17 on July 19 in eastern Ukraine while on route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur.

In an Oct. 8 presentation given to members of the parliamentary control committee, the Bundestag body responsible for monitoring the work of German intelligence, BND President Gerhard Schindler provided ample evidence to back up his case, including satellite images and diverse photo evidence. The BND has intelligence indicating that pro-Russian separatists captured a BUK air defense missile system at a Ukrainian military base and fired a missile on July 17 that exploded in direct proximity to the Malaysian aircraft, which had been carrying 298 people.

But some U.S. intelligence analysts offered conflicting assessments. After Kerry’s TV round-robin, the Los Angeles Times reported on a U.S. intelligence briefing given to several mainstream U.S. news outlets. The story said, “U.S. intelligence agencies have so far been unable to determine the nationalities or identities of the crew that launched the missile. U.S. officials said it was possible the SA-11 [anti-aircraft missile] was launched by a defector from the Ukrainian military who was trained to use similar missile systems.

A source who was briefed by U.S. intelligence analysts told me that some analysts had concluded that the rebels and Russia were likely not at fault and that it appeared Ukrainian government forces were to blame, although possibly a unit operating outside the direct command of Ukraine’s top officials.

The source specifically said the U.S. intelligence evidence did not implicate Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko or Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk but rather suggested an extremist element of the armed forces funded by one of Ukraine’s oligarchs.

Regarding the alleged Russian role, the source said the U.S. analysts had found no evidence that the Russian government had given the rebels a BUK missile system, which would be capable of shooting down a commercial airliner at 33,000 feet, the altitude of MH-17.

According to the Der Spiegel story, the BND reached the same conclusion, that Russia was not the source of the missile battery. But the BND and these U.S. analysts apparently differ on who they suspect fired the fateful missile.

What has been curious about the handling of the MH-17 case is the failure of the Obama administration and other Western governments to present whatever evidence they have, whether satellite, electronic or telephonic so the investigation can proceed more quickly in determining who was responsible.

By withholding this evidence for nearly three months, the West has benefited from keeping alive the anti-Russian propaganda – blaming Moscow and President Vladimir Putin for the tragedy – but the secrecy has given the perpetrators time to scatter and cover their tracks.

With Der Spiegel’s report, it’s now clearer why the delay and the secrecy. If the missile responsible for bringing down MH-17 came from a Ukrainian military base – not from the Russian government – then a very potent anti-Putin propaganda theme would be neutralized. More attention also would focus on whether the missile battery was really under the control of a rebel unit, as the BND suggests – or was in the hands of anti-rebel extremists.

Kiev secretly received data from #MH17 crash investigators – Ukrainian hacktivists — RT News
    http://rt.com/news/195128-mh17-crash-cyberberkut-leak

Ukrainian CyberBerkut hacktivists claim that they have penetrated the internal network of Ukraine’s Defense Ministry and found proof that Kiev is getting secret data from MH17 crash investigators, including information which implies its involvement.

A document, posted on the website cyber-berkut.net, and allegedly downloaded from Ukraine’s Defense Ministry network, dates back to August 7 and appears to be signed by Colonel Igor Zorin, the chief of Ukraine’s air defense forces. It is a report which maintains that a fragment of a projectile found together with the debris of the crashed flight MH17 is in fact a damage agent of a 9M38 surface-to-air guided missile belonging to the mobile air defense complex Buk or Buk M1.

Photo scans allegedly depicting the fragment in question have been also posted.

The document acknowledged that a specific rectangular shape of the fragment pointed out that it could belong to a 9N314 warhead of the 9M38 anti-aircraft missile.

It was suggested that the final conclusion could be made after analyzing the original fragments depicted in the photographs.

Buk and Buk M1 missile systems were developed by the Soviet Union and entered into service in the late 1970s and in early 1980s.

Earlier this week, a source in Russia’s Defense Ministry told RIA Novosti news agency that after the fall of the Soviet Union, a number of such systems remained in Ukraine and today Kiev possesses no less than 70 Buk M1 systems.

According to open sources, the Russian army operates only Buk-M1-2 and Buk-M2 missile systems – the latest modified versions developed after Ukraine became independent in 1991.

The source also accused Valentin Nalivaichenko, head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), of inadvertently leaking that the MH17 Boeing-777-200 crash in July was caused by an outdated missile that only Ukrainian army still operates.

    … et surtout…

RIA Novosti’s source also said that on the day the MH17 was shot down, Ukraine’s 156th SAM regiment carried out an unauthorized missile launch.

    http://www.voanews.com/content/mhseventeen-victim-wearing-oxygen-mask/2478085.html

Dutch prosecutors have confirmed the body of a passenger on the Malaysian airliner that crashed in July in eastern Ukraine was found wearing an oxygen mask.

The prosecutors said the victim of the crash of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 was Australian. Forensic experts have tested the mask for fingerprints, saliva and DNA, but the tests yielded no results.

The discovery of the oxygen mask was made public late Wednesday by Dutch Foreign Minister Frans Timmermans, raising speculation some passengers may have been aware the plane was in trouble.

Russia submitted to the United Nation’s Security Council a list of questions that it demands to clarify during the investigation of the Malaysian MH17 flight crash in southeastern Ukraine, the letter released on the UN’s website on Monday said.
According to the letter dated 19 September 2014, the first priority is to “lay out the pieces of the aircraft structure and analyze the damage to the pieces and possible causes of that damage,” which is a “customary and mandatory” part of the investigation.
Another urgent issues, listed in the letter, include searching for projectiles at the crash site, conducting post-mortem examination of the flight’s crew and passengers, “including for the purpose of detecting any projectiles and other foreign objects or substances,” and examining data from Ukrainian ground radar.
Russia also insists on examining the communication between the crew, captured by on-board microphones, as well as examining the communication between air traffic controllers at the Dnipropetrovsk Air Traffic Control Center and Kiev’s military authorities. The data from the countries and organizations involved in the investigation concerning the radar situation in the region, including the United States, NATO and Russia should also be requested and studied.

First, I was amazed at how few photos can be found from the wreckage with Google. All are in low resolution, except one: The fragment of the cockpit below the window on the pilots side. This image, however, is shocking. In Washington, you can now hear views expresssed of a “potentially tragic error / accident” regarding MH 017. Given this particular cockpit image it does not surprise me at all.

I recommend to click on the little picture to the right. You can download this photo as a PDF in good resolution. This is necessary, because that will allow you understand what I am describing here. The facts speak clear and loud and are beyond the realm of speculation: The cockpit shows traces of shelling! You can see the entry and exit holes. The edge of a portion of the holes is bent inwards. These are the smaller holes, round and clean, showing the entry points most likeley that of a 30 millimeter caliber projectile. The edge of the other, the larger and slightly frayed exit holes showing shreds of metal pointing produced by the same caliber projectiles. Moreover, it is evident that at these exit holes of the outer layer of the double aluminum reinforced structure are shredded or bent – outwardly!

The call for greater coordination comes less than two months after the crash of the Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777-200, , which showed that the standard procedures used by aviation authorities and airline flight planners to protect passenger planes over the war zone in eastern Ukraine were catastrophically inadequate.

Flight 17, flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, was shot down on July 17 over territory controlled by pro-Russian rebels, killing all 298 people on board. The United States and Ukraine have accused the separatists of downing the plane with a powerful surface-to-air missile provided by the Russian military. Moscow has publicly denied those claims, and some Russian officials have gone so far as to suggest that the plane was brought down by the Ukrainian military.

When #KAL007 was shot down, Alvin A. Snyder, director of the U.S. Information Agency’s television and film division, was enlisted in a concerted effort to “heap as much abuse on the Soviet Union as possible,” as Snyder writes in his 1995 book, “Warriors of Disinformation.”

He and his colleagues also earned an A-plus for bringing the “mainstream media” along. For example, ABC’s Ted Koppel noted with patriotic pride, “This has been one of those occasions when there is very little difference between what is churned out by the U.S. government propaganda organs and by the commercial broadcasting networks.”

“The perception we wanted to convey was that the Soviet Union had cold-bloodedly carried out a barbaric act,” wrote Snyder, adding that the Reagan administration went so far as to present a doctored transcript of the intercepts to the United Nations Security Council on September 6, 1983.

Only a decade later, when Snyder saw the complete transcripts — including the portions that the Reagan administration had hidden — would he fully realize how many of the central elements of the U.S. presentation were false.

The evidence released to date does not bear close scrutiny; it does not permit a judgment as to which side is lying about the shoot-down of Flight 17. Our entire professional experience would incline us to suspect the Russians – almost instinctively. Our more recent experience, particularly observing Secretary Kerry injudiciousness in latching onto one spurious report after another as “evidence,” has gone a long way toward balancing our earlier predispositions.

It seems that whenever Kerry does cite supposed “evidence” that can be checked – like the forged anti-Semitic fliers distributed in eastern Ukraine or the photos of alleged Russian special forces soldiers who allegedly slipped into Ukraine – the “proof” goes “poof” as Kerry once said in a different context.

      A Choice Between Two

If the intelligence on the shoot-down is as weak as it appears judging from the fuzzy scraps that have been released, we strongly suggest you call off the propaganda war and await the findings of those charged with investigating the shoot-down. If, on the other hand, your administration has more concrete, probative intelligence, we strongly suggest that you consider approving it for release, even if there may be some risk of damage to “sources and methods.” Too often this consideration is used to prevent information from entering the public domain where, as in this case, it belongs.

Just hours after the Malaysian government reached an agreement with Ukrainian separatists on Sunday over access to the crash site of a Malaysian airliner shot down in rebel territory, the Ukrainian military launched an operation to recapture the debris fields, again stalling international efforts to secure the site.
      (…)
One separatist commander at a checkpoint outside Shakhtyorsk, about 10 miles from the crash site, said the Ukrainians had retaken the area, and a rebel leader, Alexander Borodai, confirmed that government troops were advancing.

The attempts to clear militia from the crash site irrefutably show Kiev is trying to destroy evidence,” he told reporters in Donetsk. His claim was apparently intended to counter earlier allegations that the rebels had been tampering with evidence to hide their own role in the downing of the plane.

      http://www.lemonde.fr/international/article/2014/07/28/ukraine-nouvelle-tentative-pour-acceder-au-site-du-crash-du-mh17_4463584_321

After Flight 17 Crash, Agony, Debris and Heartbreak in Ukraine Villages - WSJ

Natalya Voloshina, mayor of Petropavlivka, Ukraine, outside the local village hall. The residents of Petropavlivka remain deeply distressed by what they saw when Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 crashed nearby on July 17. Paul Sonne for The Wall Street Journal

Then the plane crashed. The cabin’s second-row overhead compartment is in a tree across from the village hall—and suitcases and clothes are in backyards and gardens of square-windowed cottages.

Villagers dashed into their basements, fearing a bomb attack. Residents in a nearby village ran for the church, certain that the world was coming to an end. A colleague of Ms. Voloshina screamed after being nearly hit by the plane’s cargo hold. Days later, the 43-year-old mayor found the bottom half of a man’s body in the shrubs next to her office. She has barely slept since then.
    (…)
Officials in Kiev are largely cut off due to the war. Regional authorities and police are in disarray because of the rebel takeover, while foreign officials have been slow-moving or incommunicado. There is no money. The Dutch-led team that will investigate the crash hasn’t reached the scene.

We asked what to do, how we should act, but no one said anything,” says Ms. Voloshina, a former mathematics teacher who grew up in Petropavlivka. She put on a formal purple dress and stood near the crash site this week, wringing her hands while trying to project an image of control.

She says she would have found volunteers to cordon off parts of the crash site, packaged passenger belongings in a specified way or gathered the plane’s debris in one place. Without expertise, she is afraid of doing something wrong, she says.
    (…)
Mayors of the three villages waited for word about whether they could move the human remains. No orders came. For days, separatists controlling the area fought with Kiev over who should probe the crash site. International monitors showed up but also gave no instructions. European and American officials refused to talk to the rebels directly and didn’t call the mayors at all.

There should have been a command from Kiev or someone about what to do,” says the exhausted Mr. Miroshnichenko, sitting under a pair of birch trees outside Rozsypne’s village hall. He recalls being forced to bury friend after friend who died in coal mines where he worked for 25 years.

In mines, you don’t remove a body until they investigate it,” he says.

  • What Happened To The Malaysian Airliner? By Paul Craig Roberts
    http://www.countercurrents.org/roberts200714.htm

Indeed the entire Western media spoke as one: Russia did it. And the presstitutes are still speaking the same way.

Possibly, this uniform opinion merely reflects the pavlovian training of the Western media to automatically line up with Washington. No media source wants to be subject to criticism for being unamerican or to find itself isolated by majority opinion, which carries the day, and earn black marks for being wrong. As a former journalist for, and contributor to, America’s most important news publications, I know how this works.

On the other hand, if we discount the pavlovian conditioning, the only conclusion is that the entire news cycle pertaining to the downing of the Malaysian airliner is orchestrated in order to lay the blame on Putin.

Romesh Ratnesar, deputy editor of Bloomberg Businessweek, provides convincing evidence for orchestration in his own remarks of July 17. Ratnesar’s opinion title is: “The Malaysia Airlines Shootdown Spells Disaster for Putin.http://www.businessweek.com/articles/2014-07-17/the-malaysia-airlines-shootdown-spells-disaster-for-putin?campaign_id=
Ratnesar does not mean that Putin is being framed-up. He means that prior to Putin having the Malaysian airliner shot down, “to the vast majority of Americans, Russia’s meddling in Ukraine has largely seemed of peripheral importance to U.S. interests. That calculus has changed. . . . It may take months, even years, but Putin’s recklessness is bound to catch up to him. When it does, the downing of MH 17 may be seen as the beginning of his undoing.

As a former Wall Street Journal editor, anyone who handed me a piece of shit like Ratnesar published would have been fired. Look at the insinuations when there is no evidence to support them. Look at the lie that Washington’s coup is “Russia’s meddling in Ukraine.” What we are witnessing is the total corruption of Western journalism by Washington’s imperial agenda. Journalists have to get on board with the lies or get run over.

Look around for still honest journalists. Who are they? Glenn Greenwald, who is under constant attack by his fellow journalists, all of whom are whores. Who else can you think of? Julian Assange, locked away in the Ecuadoran Embassy in London on Washington’s orders. The British puppet government won’t permit free transit to Assange to take up his asylum in Ecuador. The last country that did this was the Soviet Union, which required its Hungarian puppet to keep Cardinal Mindszenty interred in the US Embassy in Budapest for 15 years from 1956 until 1971. Mindszenty was granted political asylum by the United States, but Hungary, on Soviet orders, would not honor his asylum, just as Washington’s British puppet, on Washington’s orders, will not honor Assange’s asylum.

If we are honest and have the strength to face reality, we will realize that the Soviet Union did not collapse. It simply moved, along with Mao and Pol Pot, to Washington and London.

The flaw in Putin’s diplomacy is that Putin’s diplomacy relies on good will and on truth prevailing. However, the West has no good will, and Washington is not interested in truth prevailing but in Washington prevailing. What Putin confronts is not reasonable “partners,” but a propaganda ministry aimed at him.

Question : où sont ces preuves ? ».

Non ? Non...

The shrapnel came from outside the plane.

Mr. Foster said the contour of the aluminum and the blistering of the paint around many of the holes indicate that small pieces of high-velocity shrapnel entered the aircraft externally. Mr. Foster said the two most likely causes were an engine explosion or an exploding missile.

    http://www.les-crises.fr/theorie-avion-de-chasse

The Dutch head of a team sent to identify the victims of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 praised the Ukrainian recovery workers who collected hundreds of bodies from a giant swathe of land in a war zone for doing a “hell of a job”.

Peter van Vliet, leader of a 3-man team of Dutch body identification experts, the first international investigators to visit the crash area, said his priority would be getting hundreds of bodies now stored in refrigerated rail cars to a location where they can be identified and sent home.

Despite reports that some of the bodies may have been looted and were never properly secured during days lying out in summer sun, van Vliet expressed admiration for the recovery crews that gathered them.

I’m very impressed about the work that was done over here,” he said after inspecting the main crash site, where bodies were still being found a day earlier pinned under chunks of aircraft wreckage.

Citing the heat and the scale of the site, he said: “I think they did a hell of a job in a hell of a place.
