Doctors in Latvia to strike in autumn
During the discussions about the budget 2017, medic association has expressed deep discontent that the government does not take into account international recommendation and the current situation in health care system.
It is calculated that to improve the situation, health care should receive 100millions more than it gets now. The government is ready to transfer about third of that.
Doctors feel that their demands are not heard and they are ready to protest in autumn.

Šoreiz ne piketi un streiki, bet citas protesta formas – tā sola mediķi, redzot, ka budžeta veidošanas procesā valdība neņem vērā starptautiskās rekomendācijas, kā rezultātā akūtais naudas trūkums nozarē tikai samilzīs. Lai situāciju kaut cik uzlabotu, nākamajā gadā papildus nepieciešami vismaz 100 miljoni eiro, bet valdība šobrīd solījusi tikai trešdaļu.
