Mo thought it would be funny to use a massive picture of North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un to advertise a 15% off discount offer.
And it was. To everyone except officials at the North Korean embassy, which unluckily for Mo, happens to be stationed just a few miles away in Gunnersbury.
Mo claims officials came to his shop and demanded he take the ‘disrespectful’ poster down.
At first Mo stood his ground. He told the Evening Standard: “I told them this is England and not North Korea and told them to get their lawyers.’
Despite his initial stance, Mo later took the poster down (we can’t say we blame him), though clients persuaded him to put it back up.
