Je n’avais pas entendu parler de The Invaders (aussi connu sous de Black Organizing Project), un groupe d’activistes de Memphis proches du Black Panther Party. D’abord opposés à Martin Luther King, ils finissent par se rapprocher de lui et par assurer sa garde rapprochée quand il est à Memphis. Comme par hasard, ils sont éloignés de lui (probablement par un agent double, Marrell McCullough) lorsqu’il est assassiné en 1968.
