On Saturday, Israeli soldiers injured five Palestinians during the funeral procession and a slain young man near Ramallah, in the central part of the occupied West Bank.
Media sources said the soldiers invaded Ni’lin town, west of Ramallah, and attacked the funeral procession of a slain young man, Sofian Khawaja, 29, whom Israeli soldiers shot and killed near the entrance of Ni’lin, on March 20, 2020, and the army only allowed the transfer for his body to his family, Friday.
Media sources said the soldiers attacked the Palestinians with live rounds, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.
They said the soldiers shot three young men with live rounds and caused dozens to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation. (...)
