I think there’s a serious psychological issue with Israel’s genocidal rampage in that, as a collective regime built on the narrative of protecting Jewishness, they think that as long as they don’t kill 6,000,000 people, they’re not really committing an atrocity.
The justification to themselves in committing some of the ugliest crimes of the era, well, what’s 17,700 to 6,000,000 Jews?
What Israelis, Israel, as well as Zionist Jews fail to understand is that their suffering is not the measurement to what pain is. Yes, fuck Germany and the holocaust it inflicted. And fuck Israel and its ongoing interminus eradication of Palestinians by killing them in their own homes.
Then comes the necessary sobriety to look past the fog of fear and recognize that Israeli military is holding Palestinian men and teens captives in their own streets, at gun point, marking their flesh with numbers.
Yes. The marking of flesh with numbers reminds me of the horror stories I read from the writings of Lemkin, Primo Levy, Hannah Arendt, and Giorgio Agamben. The captives by the Nazis that were being taken into torture chambers. Reminds me of the stories I read by Walid Daqqa, and Palestinian detainees taken into literally torture chambers.
What Israel fails to see by evoking the argument of protecting Jewishness and emphasizing Jewish pains as the minimum point for what is considered a genocide is a false equivalence of context, and a vivid showcasing of inability to see others, only yourself.
It’s a deeply engrained inability to see that the scale is not based on the European Jewish experience with repression and persecution. More importantly, it is not enough to justify committing ethnoreligiously based slaughters for almost 8 decades now.
The entire Palestinian population in Gaz- is 2.2 million, Israel killed 17,700 in 64 days through consecutive carpet bombing.
The rest are wounded, sick and without home, developing disease, orphaned, widowed, unsheltered, and still being bombed as i write these words.
It is time to separate Israel from anything Jewish and treat it as a rogue and psychopathic regime with the capacity to destroy the world if it feels it should (in fact it calls this the Samson Doctrine).
