Do not forget that the current press campaign about the pretended #ITU plot to take over the Internet is backed purely by US national organisations trying to maintain the current mono-governmental system, where only one governement (in Washington) manages IANA and ICANN.

Good point, thanks... So I may have been a willing tool of that US propaganda campaign. Considering how much Internet technology people love the ITU, those lobbyists had an easy job - and we may indeed be forgetting that the status quo is not too good either.
