Στο πλαίσιο αστυνομικής επιχείρησης, νωρίς το πρωί του Σαββάτου, συνελήφθησαν μέλη του ηγετικού πυρήνα της Χρυσής Αυγής, ανάμεσα στα οποία ο ΓΓ της Νίκος Μιχαλολιάκος και οι βουλευτές Ηλίας Κασιδιάρης, Ηλίας Παναγιώταρος και Γιάννης Λαγός. Προηγήθηκε τα ξημερώματα η ενημέρωση της κυβέρνησης, όπως και σύσκεψη των υπουργών Δημόσιας Τάξης, Δικαιοσύνης και Εσωτερικών.

Police found three unregistered guns at the house of Golden Dawn leader Nikos Michaloliakos during the morning raid that led to his arrest in tandem with the arrests of party spokesman Ilias Kasidiaris and Greater Piraeus deputy Yiannis Lagos, Skai reported on Saturday afternoon citing police sources.
