Nine Lebanese #Shia_pilgrims who were kidnapped by a rebel group in northern #syria over a year ago have been released, Interior Minister Marwan Charbel announced on Friday night. The pilgrims are currently being transported from Syria through the northern border to Turkey where a top Lebanese security official is waiting to receive them, Charbel said in remarks carried by the National News Agency. read (...)
