Defense Minister Israel Katz said today (Monday) in a conversation with reporters that he has ordered the IDF to prepare a plan to establish a “humanitarian city” on the ruins of Rafah, where the entire population of the Gaza Strip will later be concentrated. According to Katz, the plan is to initially bring 600,000 Palestinians, mainly from the Mawasi area, into the “humanitarian city” that will be established.
